PJ’s  $5,000 supports the therapeutic services needed for one child for a full year.  $2,500 pays for the cost of food for every child at St. PJ’s for one week.  $1,000 covers the cost of doing laundry for one month at St. PJ’s.  $500 provides a grocery stipend for an entire year for one teenager in the Transitional Living Program.  $200 is the cost per day to care for 1 child at St. PJ’s.  $_____ Every dollar helps St. PJ’s continue its mission of healing. The Story of the Red Shoes In 2002, a four-year-old girl was brought into St. PJ’s emergency shelter along with her 6-year old brother. They had been removed from their home for severe physical abuse and neglect. This little girl was very scared and crying. While the case manager was comforting her, she noticed her red glittered shoes and asked, “Where did you get those?” The girl responded, “My grandma gave me these shoes because some day I am going to go home.” Thank You for Your Generosity!
