Clonard Youth Ministry Award Success
Congratulations to all the young people
and leaders who volunteered at this year’s
Summer Outreach. Clonard Youth Ministry were the overall WINNERS
of this year’s Belfast City Council community cleanup competition ”the Brush off”.
The award was given in recognition of the huge
effort that the volunteers put into cleaning up the
local area, promoting , recycling and instilling in the
local children a sense of community pride.

Clonard Monastery
Last weeks collection £1289, for Clonard, £552 for the Bishop’s collection.
Many thanks.
Today’s Church gate collection is in aid of Kate’s Project. This is a scholarship
programme, with a Clonard connection, for street children living in the slums of
Pattaya, Thailand . The charity pays for school fees, school uniforms, food and
provides fresh water.
Clonard Safeguarding Committee Training
Safeguarding children and young people Information Session Wednesday 15 Oct.
(7pm - 9pm) in Corpus Christi Church Hall. This Session is open to all Volunteers
from any Parish including Clonard (who have not attended in the last three
