•
Last summer, Joan Rivers donated over 1,000 books from her personal collection to the
Wyomissing Public Library! Some of her books have been added to our collection and others
have been placed in our ongoing Book Sale. We truly appreciate her generous contribution.
Our condolences to her friends and family. •
We now have the “Wyomissing Public Library Endowment Fund” through the Berks County
Community Foundation. Many thanks to Mr. Douglas Kaufman, an avid library user, for
initiating this generous fund, which is a lasting legacy in support of literacy. Contributions such
as these help secure the future of our library and are necessary for us to continue providing all
our services. Have you considered a donation to the library? It could be in memory of a loved
one or in honor of a celebration. It is always a good time to support your local library.

“Lemongrass Hope” by Amy Impellizzeri
After over a decade working in New York City as an attorney in the cutthroat world of
corporate litigation, Amy Impellizzeri left in 2009 to write and advocate for women
entrepreneurs. She joined the executive team of a virtual magazine named “Top
Website for Women” by ForbesWoman. Last year, Amy finished her debut novel,
Lemongrass Hope, published by award-winning indie publisher Wyatt-MacKenzie.
With a lot of hard work and help, she was able to lift the mysterious veil that normally
surrounds the publishing process, and as a result, she has plenty of wonderful, concrete
advice for both aspiring authors and those who have a dream they have been stalling on pursuing for far
too long now. Please join us to hear her heartfelt story and celebrate her book release!
