Winter & Spring CAP Students -Mandatory meeting for all Winter & Spring CAP student-athletes who are
not in a Fall sport on Monday, October 13th, 2-3pm in Spirito Hall.
Culinary Club – Meets tomorrow at lunch in F-105; the theme is “frozen treats”.
Girl-Up – Girl-Up meets TODAY (10/9) in Mrs. Adam’s room (I-106).
Kiwins’ Meeting – There is a Kiwins’ board meeting TOMORROW, Friday. Please attend if on the Kiwins’
Board. Thank you!
Anime Club – Meeting TODAY in H-107, Mr. Perfect’s room. We are watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

PAAC Debate – There is a PAAC Debate on Friday. The Debate topic is: “Has America taken the right
actions to combat ISIS?”
ISPE - Reminder that ISPE online logs needed to be printed out and turned in by noon on October 17th.
Students – There will be a representative here tomorrow at 10:00 in the Media Center to explain NROTC
scholarships. If interested in attending, please sign up in the Media Center.
Seniors! – If you have not yet gotten your Senior Shirt, please come to D-108 (Captain’s room) at FIRE or
lunch this week and get it! You need them for the Senior Panorama picture on October 15th!
Letterman Jackets – Any student who is interested in purchasing a letterman jacket, the sales rep will be
here during lunch on Thursday, Oct. 16, so you can see the jacket choices and try on sizes. Please see Karrie
in the front office to sign up for an appointment time.

New Community Service Opportunities

Opportunities.
Community Service Opportunity – Elmhurst and Saticoy are having their school carnivals on Friday
October 10th and Saturday October 11th. See Captain in D-108 to sign up and get more details.
Looking for Volunteer Hours? The Seaside Highland Games at the Fairgrounds is looking for help with
children’s games next weekend, Saturday and Sunday Oct. 11-12 9-4:30. Contact Amy at [email protected]
beforehand.
Volunteers - Are needed for the Get MooVin’, a 5K Run/Walk Event for Ventura County Community College
Employees. This year the event will take place at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura on Saturday, October 11,
2014, 8:00 a.m. Volunteers are needed from 6:00 a.m. – 10 a.m. Register to volunteer at
www.vcccd.edu/benefits/get-moovin.
Work Permits – If you currently have a summer work permit or have a new job, you must secure a 20142015 work permit. Applications are in the Career Center. Don’t put yourself at risk; make sure you have a
current work permit! See Media Center.

Attention Juniors -You may now sign up for the PSAT at the Student Store. The cost is $17 and the test
will be on Saturday, October 18th, from 8 to 11:30 here at FTHS. Spaces are limited to 160 students and open
to Juniors only at this time. IF space is available on Monday October 6th, sophomores will be allowed to sign
up for the PSAT. Please see your counselor for more info.

FTHS Athletic Event Pass – Buy your athletic event pass now to get in to ALL Foothill Volleyball and
Basketball HOME GAMES! Only $25 for students, $45 for adults, for sale at the Student Store. (Regular
admission is $6 for adults, $3 for students & seniors, so this is a $120-$240 value with approx. 40 games to
choose from!) Staff is admitted for free with your Staff ID. Our first home girls volleyball game is 9/23, so buy
