This week we’re praying for…
1. Local Church: Sevenoaks Alliance Church
2. Missionaries: Brian and Bety Heppner • Children of Hope
Children of Hope is an organization that primarily works with orphanages in Mexico.
Currently we have 4 Christian-run children’s homes that we are involved with. Our
goal is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ by giving children opportunities for a better
life in our orphanages. Through godly teaching and principles, children are given
the tools and training they need to be responsible citizens in their communities.
One of the ways we provide training is by
sending groups of Canadians down on short
term missions trips. We would love for you
to consider joining us. Please pray for the
170 children in these homes as most of
them come from backgrounds of abuse,
abandonment, or are orphaned.

Baptism Service
The Benediction
Why does Northview have a ‘Benediction’ verse at the end of the service?
The blessing of the believers at the close of the service is a very important part
of our time together. As we finish the service, the work of worship gives way to
the sending out of the saints to continue in service of ministry, equipped and
empowered to do the ‘work of the people’ in mercy, witness, and justice. We go
our separate ways as the hands and feet of Jesus and are sent out to be the
Church in the World. So, far from being merely an act of dismissal, it is a symbol
of assurance spoken over us that God is with us...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We are not sent out alone among wolves, but in the power and authority of God.
So receive it with joy! And go in confidence that this week you will walk, talk,
and act in His name.
“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship
of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” (2 Corinthians 13:14)
-Pastor Johnny Markin
