Camp Logos – the buildings
Camp Logos is the dorm across the street from The Animation Workshop. There are 4 buildings
side by side – Alpha, Beta, Cato, and Delta – and many of our students live there. There are is a big
common kitchen and a TV lounge on every floor of every building (except the Delta building where
the rooms are bigger and all have a private kitchen). There are storage rooms and a laundry room in
the basements. All rooms have cable internet connections. (Please note: people living in Cato will
have access to a personal storage space and the common laundry room in Beta. There is easy access
to Beta from all floors in Cato).
Camp Logos is a 2 minute walk from The Animation Workshop and a 10-15 minute walk from the
downtown Viborg area where you find all supermarkets and stores.
The size of each room mentioned below is the actual space available, including kitchen and
bathroom. When receiving contracts from the housing agency, the total amount of m2 will be stated
as much larger, but this is because the housing agency – in accordance with Danish dorm contract
regulations - has to include each room’s share of the common areas in any given contract.
All types of rooms will be rented on what is called the “B-deal” (B-ordning). This means the rooms
will not be newly painted upon moving in. A part of each month’s rent is set aside, and you can, if
you wish, buy paint and paint the room yourself – and get the money reimbursed by the housing
agency. You only need to call/email the housing agency to be informed of how much money is in
the account, and always keep receipts in order for you to get your money reimbursed. Upon moving
out, you will get the whole deposit back, provided that you have cleaned to perfection, haven’t
mistreated the room or the furniture, or owe rent.
There will be basic furniture in each room, and this can’t be avoided. You are welcome to put this
furniture into storage elsewhere if you prefer your own furniture, but this will be at your own
personal expense. The storage space is not big enough to store furniture. See the individual room
descriptions to find out which furniture will be in each individual room type.

The room is 17m2 with own bathroom and kitchenette (cooking plate and refrigerator, no kitchen

The room is 20m2 with own bathroom and kitchenette (cooking plate and refrigerator, no kitchen
utensils or equipment). The room is for one person.

stand, and floor lamp. You will need to bring the rest yourself.
Rent per month: approx. 3.000 DKK (including heating, water, and internet – but plus electricity).
Deposit: approx. 11.000 DKK.

------------------Type 3a/3b
This is a shared ”apartment” in which you will have your private bedroom and share bathroom and
kitchenette (cooking plate and refrigerator, no kitchen utensils or equipment) with one other student
of your own gender. The bedrooms are 10m2 each, and the kitchen area and bathroom make up
11m2 in total.
There will be furniture in the room; single bed with a mattress, closet, desk, chair, book shelf, night
stand, and floor lamp. You will need to bring the rest yourself.
Rent per month: approx. 2.200 DKK (including heating, water, and internet – but plus electricity).
Deposit: approx. 8.000 DKK.

Men lån til indskud er muligt. Boligsikring er KUN mulig, hvis den samlede ”lejlighed” lejes på én
kontrakt – dvs. at man kun får én huslejeregning hver måned med det fulde beløb. Vi anbefaler kun
dette til folk, der kender hinanden i forvejen, da man skal opsige lejemålet samlet. Dvs. når den ene
flytter, så skal den anden også flytte.

Rent per month: approx. 3.600 DKK (including heating, water, and internet – but plus electricity).
