Saturday – October 11, 2014 starting at 7 a.m. Leaving from The Fruit Yard 7948 Yosemite Blvd., Modesto, CA Minors must ride with an adult. Start Times: 105 Mile 7 a.m. 100 K 8 a.m. 30 Mile 9 a.m. All riders must be on the course by 9 a.m. The Fruit Yard Century will offer participants three different routes:  30 mile flat route through orchards and vineyards  100 K bucolic country roads of Stanislaus County and head east to the historic Gold Rush town of Snelling  105 mile route from the valley into the foothills taking on challenging Marshes Flat Road, a favorite from our Cheese and Wine Century Registration fee includes:  Event Registration  Pre-Ride Continental Breakfast  Map of Route  Rest stops are stocked with traditional cycling fare as well as delicious ‘bike rider approved’ food deliciously prepared by chefs from the American Culinary Foundation Heart of the Valley Chapter  Sag Support  Post Ride Feast Proceeds from this year’s ride will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties which serves over 35,000 local individuals monthly. Partnering with over 200 non-profit agencies, schools and community centers, allows them to distribute approximately one million pounds of food each month.
