of disinfection, it is recommend to use chemical cleaning with
perchlorethylen.

recommend under normal circumstances, but is possible following
the procedures given for Polyester and Trevira CS material. If the
fabric turns slightly grey during operation, the pre-filtration should
be examined and possibly exchanged for a filter better suited.
During the washing procedure, particles can be picked up by the
fabric and later blown into the room. If the clean room socks are
being washed there is no further guarantee for the function of the
socks from EURO AIR, with regards to particle count.
Cleaning of Inject outlets
EURO AIR Inject outlets do not require cleaning from a flow
technical point of view, however aesthetics or hygiene conditions
may necessitate the cleaning of the outlets.EURO AIR Inject systems
can be cleaned manually on the outside and on the inside. For this
purpose a thin water/soap dilution and a brush or a sponge should
be used (standard grade washing detergent can be used).After the
cleaning the Inject Socks should be rinsed with clean water.If the
Inject Sock is very dirty the inside of the sock should be turned out
and swept or vacuumed. Use of Hydrocarbon based solvents can
cause damage. Under no circumstances use solvents containing
Chlorate, this will deteriorate the PVC coating, causing the material
to turn brittle, eventually cracking can occur.

Wash 2-4 times at max 40°C with washing powder in accordance to
instructions by manufacturer.
If outlets are heavily soiled, they should be rinsed between washes.
If the outlets are to be disinfected, add min 200 mg/L of active
chlorine to the final rinse water (N.B. colored socks can loose some
of their color when disinfected)
Rinse outlets in clean cold water.
Socks can be spin dried, the exception being outlets with internal
rings. Here the rings must removed prior to drying.

Chemical cleaning of outlets should only be attempted in cases
where the outlets are slightly dirty.To achieve some degree
of disinfection, it is recommend to use chemical cleaning with
perchlorethylen.
Washing or chemical cleaning, clean room materials
Washing or chemical cleaning of clean room materials is not
recommend under normal circumstances, but is possible following
the procedures given for Polyester and Trevira CS material. If the
fabric turns slightly grey during operation, the pre-filtration should
be examined and possibly exchanged for a filter better suited.
During the washing procedure, particles can be picked up by the
fabric and later blown into the room. If the clean room socks are
being washed there is no further guarantee for the function of the
socks from EURO AIR, with regards to particle count.
Cleaning of Inject outlets
EURO AIR Inject outlets do not require cleaning from a flow
technical point of view, however aesthetics or hygiene conditions
may necessitate the cleaning of the outlets.EURO AIR Inject systems
can be cleaned manually on the outside and on the inside. For this
purpose a thin water/soap dilution and a brush or a sponge should
be used (standard grade washing detergent can be used).After the
cleaning the Inject Socks should be rinsed with clean water.If the
Inject Sock is very dirty the inside of the sock should be turned out
and swept or vacuumed. Use of Hydrocarbon based solvents can
cause damage. Under no circumstances use solvents containing
Chlorate, this will deteriorate the PVC coating, causing the material
to turn brittle, eventually cracking can occur.
Cleaning of M0 Outlets (Glass fibre weave)
These outlets must only be cleaned by means of a damp cloth.
A standard commercial grade detergent can be used in a watery
solution for this purpose. Outlets must be allowed to drip dry.

Membrane System
Inspect your shipment carefully matching

Make sure everything is present. Note any
missing or damaged pieces listed on the Bill
of Lading before accepting the shipment in
order to facilitate a claim for shipping
damage.
Before installation of the Euro Air
Membrane System the following points
should be observed.
* The membrane system consists of a
membrane sock, together with a short
piece of steel inlet duct with an internal
positioner driven by a positioning motor.
The membrane sock is normally equipped
with a permeable upper half and an
underside with one or more slot diffusers.
Inside the sock an airtight membrane is
placed, in order to cover either the upper
or the under half of the sock surface.
* The length of the steel inlet can be found
on page 3
* The steel inlet is supplied with a female
end to attach to the metal supply duct,
and a male end with raised bead for
attaching the ventilation sock.
* The positioning motor can be specified
for either 24 V (BFG24) or for 230 V
(BFG230), please check that the ordered
type is delivered.
* The standard placement of the
positioning motor is at the right side of
the steel inlet as seen when looking
toward the ventilation sock in the
direction of the airflow.
* The motor is as standard placed at the
right side of the steel channel seen in the
air direction.
* Without power on the motor the internal
positioner will point vertical upward and
the membrane will therefore cover the
upper half of the membrane sock. If you
look at the position indicator label at the
front of the motor the needle will point
at “Hot”.
* The steel inlet duct should be firmly
secured it is equipped with installation
hangers, and can for instance be
connected to the ceiling with threaded
rod.
* To make the installation easier the start
piece of the sock have been fixed to the
steel inlet at the factory.
* To assure that the membrane and the
ventilation sock are correctly aligned, the
ventilation sock inlet end must be pulled
over the steel inlet duct until the 2nd
bead is covered.
* For installation of the ventilation sock
itself, please refer to the enclosed general
installation instructions.
