Dancing Competition 2014-15
Requirements & Qualifications
Thank you, for your interest and participation in the 2014-15 Hmong Southeast PuavPheej, Inc. New
Year Dance Competition. With this Dance Competition, you will out shine and also preserve the Hmong
Heritage, Cultural and Traditional Dance. It will also show the talented skills and flexibilities among the
New Generations of the Hmong Community. And lastly, the top 3 groups will have the opportunity to
represent the Hmong Community and the Hmong Southeast PuavPheej, Inc. Organization in any future
events of all other ethnic groups upon requests.

Must have at least 3+ people in the group.
Must have at least 5 groups to go on with the competition.
Free Registration
Must submit all competition applications in by 11/05/14.
There will be 3 rounds requires.
Must have 4 songs (1 from HSP, 1 Hmong New Year, 1 Free and 1 song if there should be a tie).
Competition will be 2 days
a. New Year Song
b. Free song
c. Final Round - HSP Song
d. Top three, If there should be a tie-there will be a 4th round
All songs must not be longer than 5 minutes.
Must provide your own customs and accessories.
Must provide your own CD with songs.
Top 3 Groups must be willing to participate and present in any future Hmong or HSP event(s) upon
request.
Top 3 Groups will also require to represent the Hmong Community and HSP Organization in any
event(s) requested by any other ethnic groups.
Contestants and family members are not allowed to have any contact with any of the judges, prior,
during, or after the competition.
All contestants agree to be bound by all rules and decisions of the judges.
Scores are available upon request. Signature(s) will be required.
