Trunk or Treat
October 31
Our “Trunk or Treat” will be held on
Halloween from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on
the church grounds. Last year’s event
was a great success. Help us make
this year’s event even bigger and reach
more children in the community. Unshackled
will be playing again and are working on new
costumes to be the “Greasetones Band”
straight out of the 50s and 60s. Don’t worry
about the weather - this event will be held
rain or shine. If we have to, we’ll move the
entire event indoors. Please spread the word
and help us provide the children of our
community a safe Halloween alternative.
Flyers are on the welcome table to share!

Pastors are frequently asked, “What do I
say when..” The “when” can be a death,
terminal illness, serious loss, or a tragedy
which occurs in the life of a friend. Better
than words, we help best by providing a
listening ear and a compassionate
presence. This short course in compassion
will help participants develop skills needed
to LISTEN. Becky and Barry Throckmorton
will lead the class.
