Our 10-week Summer Analyst Programme is designed to provide students a challenging, meaningful and
supportive internship experience. Our orientation provides a thorough overview of the firm and features a
prominent speaker series including many of BlackRock’s founding members. The program also includes a
weekly senior speaker series, a team portfolio challenge, mentoring, and networking.
ANALYTICS & RISK
Utilise deep market knowledge and quantitative financial techniques to offer tailored, unbiased advice, risk
management and investment tools to global investors and governments of all sizes. Analytics & Risk roles
include Aladdin Client Services and Portfolio Analytics.
PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS
Create and deliver analytics to help solve business problems. Portfolio Analytics within BlackRock
Solutions is focused on understanding our clients’ business problems and connecting them with Aladdin’s®
analytics capabilities. We provide solutions for investment, risk, and clientfacing teams at BlackRock and
external clients. Our group leverages financial expertise, technical skills and knowledge of the investment
process to implement scalable solutions. Analysts develop a comprehensive understanding of finance,
clients, and technology; they learn to navigate all groups at BlackRock to solve business problems.

ALADDIN CLIENT SERVICES
Provide day-to-date consultancy and advice on Aladdin, our risk platform. The Client Services group is
committed to supporting users of BlackRock’s Aladdin® investment management, operations and risk
management platform, both inside and outside the firm. Analysts in the group develop an in depth
knowledge and understanding of the Aladdin® system, our clients’ business, and the overall investment
management process.
