Age-wise there is a quarter of a century between
these friends – so whilst Jesper Olsen represents
the present trends and technology, Christian

internationale priser og er repræsenteret på
museer verden over – heriblandt på The Museum
of Modern Art i New York. Jacob Jensen Design
arbejder i dag ud fra samme arbejdsmetode, som
har været anvendt siden grundlæggelsen. Komponenterne, som indgår hver gang er: Perspektiv,
kreativitet, innovation, forståelse - og først og
fremmest en nærmest endeløs bearbejdning.
Gennem denne proces manifesterer designet sig
selv på en så overbevisende måde, at designets
idé og funktion synliggøres overfor brugeren.

Formen anvendes altid som del af funktionen,
men uden at gå på kompromis med et moderne
islæt. Anvendelsen af belysning bør altid
understøtte arkitekturen. Det er også hoved
konceptet bag de forskellige typer af belysning
designet af Maarten Demunster. Den rene minimalistiske basis form tilføjet et nutidigt strøg af
detaljer er det indtryk man får af hans arkitektonisk, designede lamper. Denne stil gør et perfekt
samspil muligt mellem rummets arkitektur og
hans belysningskoncept.
The shape is always in use of the function, but
without making compromises on the fashionable
aspect of it. Light applications should be always
in support of the architecture. This is also the
main concept behind the different light fixtures
designed by Maarten Demunster. A pure
minimalistic basic-shape upgraded with some
contemporary details is the signature of his
architectural light fixtures. This style makes a
perfect symbiosis possible between an architectural environment and his light concept.

Beleuchtung sollte immer die Architektur des
Raumes unterstützen. Das ist das Konzept der

Bønnelycke mdd
Tofu.
Bønnelycke er drevet af en utålmodig trang til at arbejde
konstruktivt og innovativt. I 1988 startede Henrik Bønnelycke sit
arbejde med lamper, møbler og indretning. Hurtigt fandt han sin
signifikante plads som en arkitekt, der hverken har nøkker eller
hviler sit hoved på magelige konventioner.

Bønnelycke is driven by an unsurpressable urge and desire to
work constructively and innovatively. He started his career in
1988 with the design of lamps, furniture and interior spaces.
Quickly, he became known as an unconventional architect with
no whims and fancies.
Angetrieben von seiner Leidenschaft für konstruktives und
innovatives. Arbeiten begann der Architekt Henrik Bønnelycke
im 1988, sich mit Lampen, Möbeln und Inneneinrichtungen zu
beschäftigen. Schon nach kurzer Zeit wurde er bekannt als einer,
der sich weder von flüchtigen Einfällen noch von langweiligen
Konventionen leiten ließ.
Les traces de constructivité et les innovations sont le résultat
du travail soutenu de Bønelycke. En1988, Henrik Bønnelycke
commence à travailler avec des lampes, meubles et décors
intérieurs. Très vite, il trouve une place significative dans le monde
de l’architecture en restant fidèle à sa créativité.

Kaare Bækgaard
Pilar.
Der er en hårfin grænse mellem det enkle og det banale. Kaare
Bækgaard søger gennem sit design at udforske dette grænseland.
Med inspiration fra geometriens verden skaber han let tilgængelige
lamper uden overflødige detaljer. - Jeg har det med design som
med musik: Det komplekse mangler kraft, det banale savner
substans – men det enkle er i stand til at rumme begge disse
kvaliteter, forklarer Kaare Bækgaard.
There is a very fine line between the simple and the banal.
Through his design Kaare Bækgaard seeks to explore this border. With inspiration from the world
of geometry he creates easily accessible lamps without unnecessary details. “To me design is the
same as music: That which is complex is without strength, the banal lacks substance – but the
simple is able to contain both of these qualities,” explains Kaare Bækgaard.
Die Grenze zwischen dem Einfachen und dem Banalen ist auf des Messer’s Schneide. Kaare
Bækgaard versucht diesen Grenzbereich mit seinem Design auszuloten. Mit Anregungen aus der
Welt der Geometrie schafft er Leuchten mit klaren Formen ohne überflüssige Details. “Mir geht
es beim Design wie bei der Musik: Dem Komplizierten fehlt es an Kraft, dem Banalen fehlt es an
Substanz – doch das Einfache ist in der Lage, beide Qualitäten zugleich zu umfassen”, erklärt
Kaare Bækgaard.
