Woodpecker Electro-mechanical Hammer for Carving
The Woodpecker electrical hammer is made in Italy by Gelma for the working of marble , stone
and wood. Granite can be worked in small quantities but not recommended.The controllable
percussion strength is adjusted by the pressure exerted on the hammer.This allows very fine and
delicate work.
With the use of different adaptors various Pnuematic ended tools can be used .For example
Claw chisels, Carving chisel , Gouges & Points.

It is not normally advised to use chisels greater than 16mm.
The Woodpecker accepts 12.5mm heads as standard and has included an adaptor for 7.5mm .
Adaptors for 10.2 are also available on request.
One of the great advantages of this tool is you do not need a compressor ,it is very quiet and the
vibration is less.
Stand and support available. If bought with a hammer there is a 20% discount on the stand+support.

This is a hand set pitching tool with a flat carbide blade for all stone. Method of use is to angle this
carbide hand chisel on its edge and strike it along a line to square and trim granite or other hard
stone. When the blade dulls, flip use the other edge. The tungsten carbide on this chisel is deeply
recessed into the steel body. This allows for multiple sharpening and a considerably long life. The
pitching tool, is used for cutting of edges. Hold the chisel steady in your hand and never brake at the
same time as you hit the shank. Avoid trying to break away stone. Straight hits will give the best

Traffic flow control plates
As the name implies this is to control traffic and encourage one way flow. The robust all steel
construction is simple in operation as it is entirely vehicle activated and working on a simple pivot
which is self returning. FINISH : Zinc Phosphate Pre-Treated followed by a final coat of Yellow
Gloss. RECOMMENDATIONS:- Collapsible plates provide an effective barrier when complying with
the following:- 1. Raise the road surface to restrict approach speed of cars (see our speed ramp). 2.
Exclude heavy vehicles from operating the plates. 3. Avoid siting plates on a convex slope. 4. Avoid
layouts encouraging cars to approach plates more than 15 degrees out of line. 5. Provide good
general illumination. MAXIMUM LOAD : 40 Tonnes. Use of flow plates without the installation of

Economy counterbalance gate c/w latch post
The counterbalance gate has a mild steel boom which is easily raised or lowered with the aid of a
counterbalance weight. We suggest for openings of more than 6 metres using 2 gates with a
removable centre latch post. The gates can be locked by padlock. Each gate is supplied in 3
sections, pivot post, latch post and boom.

Note : Minimum clearance of 1000mm is required behind pivot post to allow correct operation.
