McDuffee of Fultonville has been selected for membership in the St. Lawrence University chapter of Psi Chi, the international psychology honorary society. McDuffee is a member of the Class of 2016 and is majoring in psychology. McDuffee attended FondaFultonville High School. To be eligible for membership, students must have an overall grade-point average of at least 3.3, a psychology average of at least 3.4 and be in the top 35 percent of their class. Free mammography lecture at FM JOHNSTOWN — FultonMontgomery Community College radiologic technology students will host a free mammography lecture Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the college’s radiologic technology lab, located in the classroom building basement at room C-005. The lecture will be led by Dr. Phillip Fear called “Diagnosing Breast Cancer; Advances in Modern Mammography and Imaging Modalities.” Dr. Fear is part of Millennium Medical Imaging and specializes in diagnostic radiology. JOHNSVILLE — OESJ school tax collector will not be in the office at NBT Bank Thursday, Oct. 16. The office will be open Wednesday, Oct. 22. Board schedules budget meeting PERTH — The town board will host a budget workshop Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at the town hall complex, 1849 Route 107. Agency announces program, fundraiser NORTHVILLE — The Fulmont Community Action Agency announced the development of a new Cultural Arts Program and a Scholarship Program for income-eligible students. The Cultural Arts Program will provide field trip experiences for children to attend cultural events such as museums, live theater productions, and musical events. The Scholarship Program will provide scholarships to graduating students each year who are pursuing higher education. This year, these scholarships are dedicated to the memory of Ingrid Hill, a longtime agency council member. Trust announces grant deadline GALWAY — The Dockstader Charitable Trust announces a Nov. 1 deadline for filing grant applications for projects that benefit the residents of the Galway Central School District.
