Present your UHD ID to Testing Services (280 South) 2. Pay $40.00 non‐refundable/non‐transferable service/examination fee (cash, money order, VISA, MasterCard or, Discover Card) 3. Return to 280 South with receipt and fill out the THEA Quick Test registration form. Non‐UHD Students 1. Present one form of acceptable photographic identification to Testing Services (280 south) 2. Pay $50.00 non‐refundable/non‐transferable service/examination fee (cash, money order, VISA, MasterCard or, Discover Card) 3. Return to 280 South with receipt and fill out the THEA Quick Test registration form. Acceptable forms of photographic identification include: Valid Driver’s license, valid passport, student identification card, military identification card, Department of Public Safety identification card. Emergency Registration/Service Fee A $30.00 emergency testing fee will be added to the $40.00 fee for UHD students for a total of $70.00 A $30.00 emergency testing fee will be added to the $50.00 fee for Non‐UHD students for a total of $80.00 All fees are NON‐REFUNDABLE and NON‐TRANSFERABLE What to bring on test day: Admission ticket Payment receipt of (non‐refundable and non‐transferable) service and exam fee One form of acceptable photo identification Several sharpened No. 2 pencils (with erasers) A sweater or jacket (room temperature may vary) Subject to change without notice. Calculators that make noise or talk Handheld, laptops, or notebook computers Calculators with an alphanumeric keyboard Business or financial planning calculators Electronic writing pads or pen‐input device Food, beverages, and tobacco products. Please note: You will not be allowed to bring or use a calculator manual or to share a calculator with another examinee. If you use a calculator with a large or raised display that might be visible to other examinees, you may be seated at the discretion of the proctor. Testing staff will not have calculators or batteries available. Students are allowed a Four‐function (+, ‐, x, ÷ ), non‐programmable calculator with square root [√] and percent [%] keys). THEA Quick Test is a five (5) hour paper and pencil test consisting of three parts: Reading: 40 multiple‐choice questions Writing : 300‐600 word sample & 40 multiple‐choice questions Mathematics: 50 multiple‐choice covering four general areas: fundamental mathematics, algebra, geometry, and problem solving. How do I get my THEA Quick Test results? A copy of your THEA Quick Test Results will be mailed from Austin to the address indicated on your registration form within 30‐working days from the date of the test.
