Dr Chua Keng Ling, Jeanette
Her main interests are aesthetic
implant dentistry and periodontal
disease.
She specialized in Advanced
Periodontology and Implant Surgery
at Loma Linda University School of
Dentistry (LLUSD), California, USA
along with a Master degree in advanced periodontology.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKSHOP
She was a part time Assistant Professor in the Advanced
Periodontology Department while at LLUSD.
It is a one - day workshop for the general practitioners without or with periodontal surgical
experience to enhance their restorative results (Basic and intermediate).
She is currently a member of the American Academy of
Periodontology and Academy of Osseointegration.
She is also on the Editorial Board of Quintessence Asia
Pacific Edition Journal.
Dr. Haider Abdulameer AlWaeli
His main interest is hard and soft tissue
periodontal surgeries, periodontal
re-generation and local drug delivery
therapy.
He specialized in Periodontics and
completed his Masters in 1995.
He is a member of European
Federation of Periodontology and The British Society of
Periodontology.
He is currently a Senior Lecturer in School of Dentistry,
International Medical University.
Workshop Contents:
• Lectures to provide, evidence based theoretical knowledge.
• Clinical case examples of functional and anterior crown lengthening, as well as a step-by-step
discussion of flap and bone management for these indications.
• Videos of crown lengthening and will be shown to illustrate the procedures you are learning.
• Hands on exercises for Posterior and Anterior Crown Lengthening are done on sheep heads
including doing the osseous surgery with rotary instruments. Specific methods for suturing
techniques.
• A special treatment planning session will be included. Participants will have the opportunity
to email photos and X-rays to the instructors. They will select some to be discussed during the
workshop.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the workshop , participants should be able to:

3. assess the mucogingival conditions as part of the pre-restorative and prosthetic assessment
(clinical significant of attached gingiva)
3. perform functional and anterior aesthetic crown lengthening to correct gingival discrepancies.

CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Any cancellation of registration must be made in writing to the Secretariat of Periodontal Surgical pathways for Predictable and Enhanced Restorations.
2. There will be a 50% refund of registration fee for cancellation made before 9 September 2014.
3. There will be a 30% refund of registration fee for cancellation made before 9 October 2014.
4. There will be no refund of registration fee for cancellations made after 23 October 2014, however a substitute participant will be welcomed.
5. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or change the topic of the workshop, if for whatever reasons beyond its control, the workshop cannot be held as scheduled or
the topics need to be altered.
