I coordinated a research group that executed fieldwork and household surveys in communities
throughout the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, in order to verify the impacts of policies related
to the construction of apartment buildings and the improvement of infrastructure for low socioeconomic
status families.

Implementation of the first household survey in the state of Minas Gerais (PAD-MG)
The 2009 survey utilized a Computer Assisted Interviewing (CAPI) system in a state with a population
of over 20 million people. We used the Census and Survey Processing System (CSPro) software
package, developed and supported by the United States Census Bureau and ICF Macro.
