Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conference forms have been sent home. Please return the form no later than Friday, Oct. 3rd.

Wednesday, Oct. 22nd from 5:00-8:00 PM
Thursday, Oct. 23rd from 12:00-4:00 and 5:00-7:30 PM

Children’s Concert
Students in grades 3-5 will be
attending the LaPorte Symphony
Orchestra concert on Wednesday,
Oct. 8th at 9:30 AM. Students
will be bussed to the Civic Auditorium. All students must have
parent permission in order to attend.
Change in dismissal procedures
Parents, if you need to change your child’s normal dismissal procedure,
please send a note with your child the day the change will take place. If
an emergency arises, we will accept phone calls, but would prefer to
have the change in writing. In order for staff members to provide a safe
dismissal procedure for all students, we ask parents to keep dismissal
procedures the same daily. We understand if changes need to be made,
but these changes should be planned, if possible.

BUNDLE UP LAPORTE
Winter coats, hats, mittens, and
scarves will be given out on Friday, Oct. 17 at the LaPorte First
Church of God from 5-8 PM .
The La Porte Education Foundation is hosting a tailgate party on Friday, Oct. 3rd from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the
LAPORTE VS CROWN POINT homecoming football
game. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the event.
Games, activities, and special appearances from high school
groups will kick off this event! Each ticket includes the
choice of a brat, hot dog, or hamburger! Bring the family
out for a fun evening which helps support LPCSC Teacher
Grants!

Background Check
If you or a relative would like to volunteer in a
classroom or have lunch with a student, a current
Criminal History Background check must be on
file at the school. Please request a form from the
office. If a current background check is not on file,
you will have to wait until the background check is
processed before volunteering or coming for a visit. Please understand this is for the safety of all
Kingsbury students!
