Passat Energi A/S was established in 1958 and
originally specialised in the production of grain
drying equipment. Since then the company has

undergone constant development and in the early
70’s expanded into the energy sector with a range
of biomass boilers. Passat quickly gained success in this
sector and has now sold more than 80,000 boilers throughout
Europe.
Today the company is well established in Oerum, Denmark,
with a production area of 6,000 m² and a highly qualified and
competent workforce. In addition, we have a development
department which ensures the fulfilment of our ambition, which
is to continue as the leading manufacturer of biomass boilers
in Europe.
Revolver puncher
Passat Energi A/S is engaged in the development and
production of biomass boilers from 8 kW to 1.5 MW for the
combustion of fuels such as wood pellets, wood, wood
chips, sawdust, straw bales, grated straw and other
biomass products. In addition, we produce transport
systems for boiler installations based on straw and wood
chips as well as grain drying plant using dry air generators.

quality and today when people speak of a traditional solid fuel boiler they usually refer to it as
a ”Passat” boiler.
Passat Energi A/S is convinced that where efficiency and operating
