Newsletter George Washington Elementary School Hours – 7:50 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. * Wednesday 7:50 a.m. – 1:35 p.m. Breakfast – 7:20 a.m. – 7:40 a.m. Things to Remember Please be sure to call the school at 524-1953 if your student will be absent or tardy. They also need to check in with the office in order to update their attendance and place an order for lunch if necessary. If there is a change in the dismissal routine for your child, please call the school or write a note. Our policy is to put the bus students on the bus unless we have a note or a call from parents. If you do need to call, do so by 2:00 p.m. If you have a change of address or telephone numbers, please make sure to call the office with that change. George Washington dismissal is ten minutes earlier than the other buildings in order to alleviate some of the congestion with bussing and parent pick-ups. If there are siblings at other buildings, please come to GW first. Thanks for your cooperation and feel free to call anytime with questions or concerns.
