This specialized series of fire helmets and accessories is designed to perform effectively against adverse environmental conditions of proximity fire fighting incidents that release high levels of radiant, convective and conductive heat. Aluminized Helmet Covers The aluminized helmet cover is available for both FX contemporary-style helmets and UST traditional-style helmets. It features an elastic edge binding and Velcro® tabs for easy installation, as well as a secure fit over the outer shell. Helmet covers feature eight secure snaps for attachment of aluminized shrouds. Custom Comfort All Bullard fire helmets are equipped with the U-Fit System, offering 12 custom comfort settings. By engineering our helmets to include 12 points of adjustment, you can adjust the ride and balance of your helmet. It’s like having a custom-fitted helmet, designed just for you. Aluminized Shrouds Bullard three-layer aluminized shrouds are designed with an exclusive zippered closure for ease of donning. These shrouds are attached with secure snaps to the alumized helmet cover to block ingress of heat and foreign matter. There are two Bullard models of aluminized shrouds: • Model R757 meets all NFPA 1971 requirements for coverage and performance. •Model R758 includes additional coverage needed for military chemical warfare facepiece and filter system. Durable Gold-Coated Faceshield The six-inch gold-coated faceshield from Bullard features an anti-scratch lens to maximize durability. This optically-correct faceshield eliminates the distortion found in some faceshields and reduces eye stress and fatigue.
