An acoustic camera is a set of microphones whose output is processed simultaneously to produce an acoustic image. The camera can be used to pinpoint sound sources in very noisy surroundings – ideal for detecting malfunctioning equipment in assembly halls or tiny gas leaks in pipelines. www.distran.ch “The Pioneer Fellowship Program was just what we needed to bring our idea from lab to market.
