which combines our
expert knowledge with the latest smart technology.
It has been designed to guide and motivate you to
make healthier choices whether it’s being more active,
eating better, improving your sleep or managing your
stress levels.
You can log your group exercise activity directly at the
Healthscore kiosk in your gym.

Energetic workouts that will raise your heart
rate to burn calories. These classes will improve
your aerobic fitness, reduce body fat, lower
blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
Cycle - A really effective, motivating calorie burning
/ cardiovascular workout on our indoor bikes that
involves no routines or need for co–ordination.
BODYATTACK - A high energy, structured, athletic
aerobic fitness class which includes strength and
stabilisation exercises. It is a great way to get fit or
get fitter.
BODYCOMBAT - A high energy structured workout
that combines movements from the martial arts,
boxing and kick–boxing in an effective “non–
contact” calorie burning workout that’s also
good for unleashing frustration.
BODYSTEP - A lively, uplifting, structured step
class combining fitness and fun in an effective
cardiovascular workout that shapes and tones
your body

Aerobic Fitness
and Calorie Burning
Extend, Relax and
Re-Energise
These classes work on your muscles to improve
fitness & appearance. This will also help improve
your body composition, blood glucose levels and
athletic performance. Good muscular fitness will
also reduce your risk of musculoskeletal problems.
These classes concentrate on developing good
posture and muscular control to improve appearance
and function. They are delivered at a lower level
intensity and will also give you time to relax,
de-stress and restore your energy levels.
BODYPUMP - The original structured weighted workout,
with the motivation of music and easily adjustable
weights. This is a challenging and effective workout
for all the major muscle groups.
BODYBALANCE - A strong, structured class focusing
on flexibility and posture combining the disciplines of
yoga, pilates and tai chi performed to music. The longer
class includes more yoga and relaxation for even greater
benefits in strength and wellbeing.
Circuits - A simple to follow effective
workout consisting of a series of short
bursts of a variety of cardiovascular/calorie burning
movements and muscle toning /strengthening exercises.
CXWORX - ‘Formulated with a carefully structured,
scientific approach and unforgiving intensity, CXWORX
will tighten and tone the abs and glutes, improve
functional strength and assist in injury prevention
like nothing else.
Yoga - This traditional eastern discipline combines
strength and flexibility through a series of movements
linked with a focus on breathing. Different yoga
disciplines vary in their speed and intensity but all
help develop a sense of inner wellbeing and calm.
Pilates - Pilates is a fantastic technique for
strengthening and balancing all the muscles of the
body to help rehabilitate and prevent injuries as well
as improve posture and range of movement.
Wellbeing Workout - A fun, social and easy to follow
group exercise class led by a Wellbeing Advisor and
designed to help you manage your health and
energy levels.
Express
classes
These are fast and efficient workouts. Designed
for those who are short of time but still enjoy the
atmosphere of training in a group.
Themed
Classes that add variety and interest – such as
dance styles and martial arts.
Express Circuits - A simple to follow effective workout
consisting of a series of short bursts of a variety of
cardiovascular/calorie burning movements and muscle
toning /strengthening exercises.
BODYJAM™ - The cardio workout where you are free
to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion
of the latest dance styles and hottest new sounds
puts the emphasis as much on having fun as on
breaking a sweat
Express Core - A short class dedicated to toning and
strengthening the muscles in the abdominal and lower
back area for a firmer body and better posture
Zumba - A fusion of Latin and International music
that creates a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness
system. Come join the party – ditch the workout!
Express Kettlebells - A short, dynamic and exciting class
designed to improve functional fitness, power
and strength using weighted Kettlebells.
