WARRANTY LIWREA guarantees against yellowing, difﬁculty peelability and stiffening for a duration of approximately 12 months. The guarantee applies only if the application has been carried out according to LIWREA (see paragraphs PRODUCT’S PREPARATION and APPLICATION). PERFORMANCE AND THICKNESS With 250 ml of concentrated product you will cover 4 sqm by applying 3 crossed hands, with a thickness of 200/180 micron wet and a thickness of 140/120 micron dry. PREPARATION OF SURFACE All surfaces should be dry and clean, free from dust, moisture and grease marks. PRODUCT'S PREPARATION CKeep the product away from frost and protected from heat sources. The product is supplied ready for use and does not require dilution. Dilution is allowed (from 5% to 15% of pure water) only in exceptional cases to adjust viscosity. The best product consistency should be like a yogurt (ford cup, diameter 8 mm, 15 to 30 seconds). APPLICATION To get the best result, LIWREA recommends using the low-pressure spray gun, Slim HTE HD WALMEC with a nozzle 1.7 (code LW1010) and input pressure of 2 bar. In the download section of the website LIWREA (www.liwrea.com), there is a manual to better adjust the instrument. The air compressor must have at least a capacity of 300 liters of air per minute and 3/4 horsepower. If you wish to use a different gun, we generally recommend: Nozzles 2,2 / 2,4 mm; Input pressure equal to 3/4 bar. IDEAL APPLICATION CONDITIONS To ensure a good ﬁnal appearance it is important to follow these recommendations: - Do not apply the product where room temperature is too low (<10 ° C). - Do not apply on cold and frozen surfaces, nor on hot surfaces due to sun exposure. - Ideal room and product temperatures range from 15 to 25°C. - The minimum wet ﬁlm thickness must not be less than 200 microns. During application on car bodywork or fairings, check product thickness near the slots that separate the various parts of the body and on any parts that are difﬁcult to paint because of their shape. It is advisable to apply a thicker layer or, if possible, to mask any difﬁcult areas with tape in order to create a straight edge of paint, which will be more solid and therefore easier to remove in the future. After the application proceed to the removal of the adhesive tape within a few minutes. DRYING TIME The product dries naturally. At a room temperature of 20°C and relative humidity of 70%, the wet ﬁlm becomes completely dry after about 2 hours. The coating can also be baked at 30-40°C for 20 minutes using an oven or a heat lamp. The ﬁlm becomes removable without residue after at least 6 hours of drying.
