KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS – Trunk or Treat – Saturday, Oct. 25th at 6:30 p.m. Kids come dressed in your costumes to trick or treat out of the trunks of your cars. Parents decorate your trunks and bring you treats to hand out. Hot dogs will be served and then the trick or treating will begin. KC Essay Contest has begun for all students 8-12th grade. Flannery’s presentation on the Miraculous Image and Apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The talk will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd on the 3rd floor of Farrell Hall beginning at 7 p.m. The purpose of the talk is to increase our understanding of Blessed Mother under this title and to thank her for having her son, bishop Kopacz, appointed Bishop and named to our Diocese on her feast day, Dec. 12th . The Bishop honors the Virgin under this image through her red rose on his coat-of-arms. Come and learn why Our Lady of Guadalupe has been given the additional title, Protectess of the Unborn. FIRST COMMUNION – There will be an important meeting for parents of children making their First Communion on Thursday, Oct. 23rd at 6 p.m. BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE – We are here to help you and your family while dealing with the loss of a loved one. Volunteers prepare meals for parishioners who suffer a loss in their family. If this committee can be of help to you, please contact the Rectory. PAUL AND MONSIGNOR MICHAEL FLANNERY’S PRESENTATION - St. Michael Parishioners are invited to attend “Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Apparitions and the Explanation of the Symbolism in Juan Diego’s Tilma” on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd at 7 p.m. in Farrell Hall. Special Guest will be Bishop Kopacz, who has included the rose of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the upper right of his coat of arms.
