PAUL LIEBENSON
Regional General Counsel, North America
ArcelorMittal
Paul Liebenson is Regional General Counsel, North America, of ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steel
company. Before joining ArcelorMittal in August, 2009, Paul was an Assistant General Counsel at
Tellabs, Inc.; a Vice President in the Law Department at Motorola; Vice President, General Counsel and
Secretary for Motorola Nortel Communications, a joint venture between Motorola and Nortel; a Partner
in the Corporate Department of Winston & Strawn; and Executive Director of the Inter-American Legal
Services Association in Washington, D.C., a nonprofit corporation that promoted legal services for lowincome groups in Latin America and the Caribbean. Paul received a B.A. from Tufts University, an M.A.
from the John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a J.D. from Georgetown University
Law Center.
MICHAEL LOGERFO
Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary
Sagent Pharmaceuticals
Mr. Logerfo has served as Sagent Pharmaceuticals’ Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and
Corporate Secretary since March 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Logerfo had served as the company’s Corporate
Vice President since March 2007, its Chief Legal Officer since April 2010, and its Secretary since
September 2010. From March 2007 to August 2008, Mr. Logerfo served as Chief Operating Officer of
Sagent Pharmaceuticals’ KSCP joint venture. From October 1999 to January 2006, Mr. Logerfo held the
positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Flavine Holding Co. and its affiliates, a privately held
group engaged in the development and sale of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Mr. Logerfo has been a
lawyer in private practice, from September 2006 to January 2007, as a partner with the law firm Phillips
Nizer, and from June 1990 to October 1999, as a member of the firm Ferro Labella Logerfo & Zucker, PC
and its predecessors and successors. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. Mr.
Logerfo received a BA in Government and a JD from Georgetown University.
JULIETTE PRYOR
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
US Foods
Juliette Pryor is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, US Foods. In
this role, she is responsible for all legal, risk management and ethics and compliance functions. Juliette
joined US Foods in 2005.
Prior to joining US Foods, she was in private practice with the law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher &
Flom. While at Skadden, Juliette counseled domestic and international corporate clients in various
aspects of sales, acquisitions, corporate restructurings and other insolvency matters. She also served as
debtors’ counsel in Chapter 11 reorganizations and advised foreign and domestic creditors defending
claims in U.S. bankruptcy cases. In particular, Juliette regularly advised major Latin American companies
on sales, acquisitions and transfer of assets held by U.S. debtor companies as a part of several significant
corporate restructurings.
Before joining Skadden, she was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for e.spire Communications,
Inc., a publicly traded telecommunications company. Juliette oversaw all legal, regulatory and corporate
reporting and compliance matters and successfully defended the company against a class action
shareholder litigation.
She also managed the company through its Chapter 11 reorganization, including an orderly wind down
through a series of asset sales.
Earlier in her career, Juliette served as legal advisor to the Vice Chairman of the U.S. International Trade
Commission, and as in-house counsel with IBM Corporation.
She holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Masters of Science from
Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. Juliette also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fisk
University.
She is a member of The Chicago Network and Governor Patrick J. Quinn’s Women’s Advisory Council.
A fluent Portuguese speaker and longtime enthusiast for all things Brazilian, Juliette is a founding board
member of Levantamos: The Center for Afro-Brazilian-American Cooperation, a not for profit
organization that provides micro grants to grass roots organizations serving socio-economically
disadvantaged groups in Brazil.

STEPHEN R. PATTON
Corporation Counsel
City of Chicago
Stephen R. Patton was appointed the City of Chicago’s Corporation Counsel in May 2011. In that position
he is Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s senior legal advisor and supervises the City’s 450-person Law Department,
comprised of approximately 270 lawyers who handle every aspect of municipal law and who represent the
City in litigation and transactional matters.
Prior to his appointment as Chicago’s Corporation Counsel, Mr. Patton was a senior litigation partner
with the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where he served in a number of leadership positions, including chair
of the firm’s Litigation Management and Client Development Committees. During the 33 years he was at
Kirkland, Mr. Patton was the lead lawyer in a number of large-dollar and high profile jury and bench trials
and appeals in federal and state courts throughout the country. Mr. Patton also served as an advisor to
senior management in connection with a number of “bet the company” exposures and as a lead negotiator
in several multi-billion dollar settlements.
Mr. Patton is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and serves on the College’s Selection
Committee for Illinois. He has been voted by his peers as one of Illinois’ “Top 100 Super Lawyers” and for
inclusion in The Best Lawyers of America (2006-2010). He was named one of America’s Leading Lawyers
for Business Litigation/General Commercial in Chambers USA (2004-2010) and one of five “highly
recommended” Chicago-based litigators in Global Counsel’s Dispute Resolution Handbook. He has been
named by Corporate Board Member magazine as one of America’s Best Corporate Lawyers, and featured
in The Legal 500 U.S. for his work in complex litigation.
Mr. Patton has also been active throughout his career in a number of civic causes and legal aide
organizations, including serving as President of the Chicago Bar Foundation and Chairman of the Board
of Advisors to the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation. Mr. Patton was a recipient of the Illinois
State Bar Association’s Pro Bono Service Award.
Mr. Patton received his law degree from Georgetown University and his bachelor’s degree from Indiana
University.
