Johnson Lecture and 3rd annual Tennessee Orthopaedic Trauma Symposium seek to review current practice guidelines and research findings to manage patients with musculoskeletal injuries. These programs serve to bring the Tennessee orthopaedic community together to update surgeons on the latest operative techniques and management strategies, as well as updates on other pertinent topics in health care. EDUCATIONAL NEED Orthopaedic trauma surgery is a rapidly advancing field with constant changes in the management of complex injuries amidst a changing healthcare landscape. This course will utilize lectures and debates to communicate the most recent peer reviewed literature and current management of commonly seen orthopaedic trauma injuries, as well as other practice issues. Audience interaction will be expected and encouraged.
