Tickets are now on sale for the UK’s spectacular Christmas destination - Hyde Park Winter
Wonderland. Returning on 21st November for six exciting weeks of winter festivities with FREE
admission there will be even more entertainment and new attractions than before. PWR Events and
The Royal Parks are thrilled to announce the main attractions that will be making a welcome return
to Capital’s most popular and dazzling winter event.
The hugely successful sub-zero experience - The Magical Ice Kingdom will increase in size with even
more fantastical snow and ice sculptures. This year children and adults are invited to walk through
the frozen forest and catch sight of the ice fairies, explore the world of frozen princesses, unicorns
and the Snow Queen and discover Merlin. Visitors are invited to sit with the Knights of the Round
Table and see the spectacular dragon and back by popular demand will be the castle’s ice slide and
the ice thrones.
The UK’s largest outdoor Ice Rink stretching over 1,600m2 will once again be located around the
picturesque Victorian Bandstand, on which there will be live music played throughout the day and
night as skaters take to the ice for a spin. For those who want to gaze at the action from above, the
iconic Giant Observation Wheel will illuminate the skyline.
Other favourite attractions making a welcome return include Santa Land, a haven for young visitors
where Father Christmas will be every day with his Elves and a sack of free gifts. For those Christmas
shoppers, there will also be over 200 chalets in the beautiful Angels Christmas & Yuletide Markets
offering unusual and handmade gifts and crafts, including ceramics, candles, jewellery, wooden toys,
nativity scenes and Christmas decorations.
Following their sell-out run last year, the UK’s favourite circus, Zippos Circus returns with two shows
- their ever-popular daytime show for all the family, Zippos Christmas Circus and an evening show
for older thrill seekers, Cirque Berserk. This year they will be performing in the Sky Dome, the
newest and biggest tented structure in London standing over 55ft tall.
Back by popular demand, the Zippos VIP boxes will be available to hire for Cirque Berserk, where you
receive fast-track entry, and watch the show from the comfort of your own private box with a bottle
of champagne and delicious chocolates, all included in the price.
Always quick to sell out, Zippos Christmas Circus is a perfect treat for all the family. A traditional
circus show with a Christmas theme featuring comedy and thrills, world-class jugglers, clowns and
aerialists.
For the evening crowd Zippos returns with, Cirque Berserk – Mechanika a very contemporary circus
thrill show for the older thrill seekers. This fast paced thrill show will feature the most dangerous
circus acts in the world, including the Globe of Death - the beyond-thrilling spectacle featuring
three motorbikes riding together at up to 60mph in an unbelievably small steel globe and much
much more! Cirque Berserk goes where no circus has gone before.
The ever-popular Bavarian Village will be ready to serve even more bratwurst and mulled wine
whilst hosting live music throughout the day and evening. In addition to the many restaurants and
bars there will be delicious food available throughout the attraction to help you warm up on a cold
crisp winter’s day. And for those thrill-seekers, there will be an array traditional and high energy
rides.
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is a huge hit with the celebrity crowds, those who have been spotted
