Research Fields
Discrete mathematics. In particular, structural graph theory, topological graph theory, enumerative
combinatorics, and discrete mathematics in statistical physics. More recently, I have been also
working on some extremal combinatorial problems.

• Jaeger’s directed cycle double cover conjecture, cycle covers, embeddings with no dual loops
and brace-type generation of graphs.
• The Ising model on triangulations of closed Riemann surfaces, graph embeddings and enumeration methods for groundstates (such as the transfer matrix method).
• Minimal bricks, cubic vertices, existence of special subgraphs.
• Gallai’s conjecture, path-cycle decompositions.
• Sum-free colorings of subsets of Abelian groups.
