In the coming months, we will be celebrating some integration milestones in Human Resources. We appreciate the dedication, enthusiasm and patience from everyone for making the initiatives a success. Lincoln Since everyday choices can help you live healthier and happier lives, both at work and at home, the Wellness program provides you with the necessary tools and resources to pursue those healthy lifestyles. Not to mention, Scottsdale Lincoln Health Network’s strength and success depend on you. As part of this initiative, the Wellness program offers employees a free Wellness portal. The online portal includes tools, information and resources to help you make simple lifestyle changes to maintain or improve your health, no matter where you are on your journey. Scottsdale Healthcare (legacy) employees have been using this tool since 2010 and recently the An Affiliate of Scottsdale Lincoln Health Network portal was launched to John C. Lincoln (legacy) employees. This means we are all on the same Wellness platform. How exciting! Like before, the Wellness program will allow employees to register on the portal and earn points toward the 2015 Wellness incentive just by taking care of health needs. If you are not already registered with the portal, we encourage you to participate in whatever manner will help you enhance your overall wellbeing. Nicotine retest begins in October Scottsdale Healthcare employees and spouses who have quit smoking since 2014 open enrollment will have an opportunity to take a nicotine screening and qualify for the reduced health insurance premium for 2015. Scottsdale Healthcare employees who successfully passed the nicotine screening last year will not have to retest. Nicotine screening will begin on Sept. 29 and the last day to complete screening is Dec. 13, 2014 Appoitments will open up soon! Visit the Update website to schedule your screening appointment. Employee Giving Campaign: Sept. 1 – 30 Helping others has been at the very heart of both of our organizations. The Scottsdale Healthcare wellness program kicked off the summer with a company-wide weight loss challenge, Slim for the Summer.
