CBI Europe’s Technical Raised Access Floor Systems are made up of modular elements
(panels) 600 x 600, resting on a special support structure in steel available in different
measurements. The space (technical area) that is created between the panel and the
floor (on which the structure rests) is used to accommodate the plumbing and electrical
wiring, and is 100% inspectable. The modular elements are standard or custom made,
resistant, durable, easy to handle, simple and quick to install, inspected, certified, ecofriendly and designed for new generation interiors.

Metal Ceilings and Coverings systems are made up of modular elements (panels, strips
or grilles) and suspended by steel support structures. These metal systems for suspended ceilings and wall coverings are made by CBI Europe, a leading manufacturer with an
output of over five million square metres a year. The modular elements are standard
or custom made, resistant, durable, easy to handle, simple and quick to install, inspected, certified, eco-friendly and designed for new generation interiors, thanks to the architectural elements of great aesthetic versatility. CBI Europe’s ceilings and metal
coverings are sound proof, fire and moisture resistant, and are washable. Moreover they
are free of toxic materials and finished with fungicidal and antibacterial coatings, therefore they can also be used in sterile environments such as canteens and hospitals.

The Factory Finished Panels are modular panels 600 x 600, resting on a suitable support
structure in steel, available in different measurements. The core of the panels is made of
woodcore, calcium sulphate or glass. The finishes are always in stock: ceramic, marble,
granite, wood, bamboo, glass, laminates, rubber, and linoleum. CBI Europe’s production chain is 100% made in Italy, from design to creation, thus ensuring quality and a fast
reliable delivery time.

CBI EUROPE’S BARE PANELS in wood agglomerate and calcium sulphate are available
in fully steel encapsulated, alufoil backing, double alufoil and tongue&groove versions.
They permit direct or access-panel inspection of the under-floor plenum, and are ideal
for use in buildings that have to be fully homologated prior to delivery to the customer and
prior to finalisation of the room layout. All CBI Europe’s bare panel floors can be covered
after installation using any type of commercially available floor covering.
HI-TECH METAL TILES, STANDARD AND CUSTOM MADE CBI Europe’s Metal Tile Systems are modular panels made in aluminium and steel, resting on a suitable support
structure in steel, available in different measurements. The space (technical area) that
is created between the panel and the ceiling or wall (on which the structure rests) is used
to accommodate the plumbing and electrical wiring, and is 100% inspectable. In addition
to the 50 different panels with standard dimensions, CBI Europe’s technical Lab is capable of studying any technical solution, which may be adapted to any special requests of
dimension or structure.
STRIPS: HORIZONTAL ARCHITECTURE Linear Strips systems are various modular strips
made in aluminium and steel, which are suspended from suitable support structures in
steel. The horizontal lines are contemporary and can be appreciated in simple, yet refined
buildings. In addition to the 50 different types of models, edges and dimensions, and having lengths of up to 6 metres, Cbi Europe can always offer the best solution adapted to
each and every request. Metal strips are resistant, durable, easy to handle, simple and fast

CBI Europe’s Wood Ceilings and Coverings systems are made up of modular elements in
soundproof MDF (medium density fibreboard), panels, strips or grilles, and suspended
by steel support structures. The visible perforations and slots form intersections, with
nonwoven fabric backing, which provide different and high levels of sound absorption
depending on the needs of each environment.
They are particularly suitable for auditoriums, theatres, airports, convention centres,
conference halls, prestigious offices, hotels, restaurants, and in any environment
where sophisticated elegance is combined with a better acoustic performance. The modular elements are standard or custom made, resistant, durable, easy to handle, simple
and quick to install, certified, eco-friendly and 100% inspectable.
CBI Europe’s Wood ceilings and covering systems can be divided into four categories:
Sherwood is CBI Europe’s basic line, fire resistant panels and strips, available whit natural wood or melamine finished panels. Acoustik Plus, that offers a unique wood finish

Sound absorption properties vary from one type of panel and strip to another, depending on the
characteristics of the perforations or slots. Special perforations can be produced to order.

ACOUSTIK PLUS: CBI EUROPE’S HI-TECH REVOLUTION that guarantees fire resistance, dimensional stability, resistance to humidity, excellent acoustic performance.
Acoustic Plus panels consist of high density plaster fibreboard, 1,250kg/m3 (class A1),
with a thickness of 14 mm. The panels are natural wood veneer essences, have a fire resistant coating, and the edges are of genuine solid wood. The plaster fibreboard core offers Class A1 fire resistance, in accordance with the latest Italian Decree, 10 March 2005.
The wood covering and backing are both treated with special fire resistant coatings,
which are guaranteed by their manufacturers, thus giving the panels the result of sheer
excellence and the classification B-s1. dO.
