NON-SURGICAL FACE LIFT
DERMACO PRO VX Microdemabrasion & Micro-current
in one facial treatment.
The Dermaco Pro VX Microdermabrasion uses
diamond tip heads. This technology allows our beauty
consultant Emily to perform a mechanical exfoliation
based on the safe and controlled removal of the
epidermis layer by layer.
Microdermabrasion stimulates cell renewal and restores
the circulation to achieve a healthy , glowing
complexion and can help to treat the following skin
blemishes:
- Sun damaged skin
- Post acne scarring
- Common acne
- Black heads &
- Age spots
whiteheads
- Congested skin/open
- Pigmentation
pores
- Fine lines and wrinkles
...overall resulting in rejuvenated skin
Microcurrent...
...the DERMACO PRO VX uses micro-current to reduce
the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Micro-current technology is a safe and painless
treatment procedure. The probes used emit an
electrical current which passes through the dermal
layers of the skin tissue and penetrate the muscles
beneath.
When the current comes into contact with the muscles it
will re-educate the muscle fibres by using an electrical
current that is biologically compatible with the body's
own natural electrical energy - sometimes referred to as
'chi'. In turn the muscle fibres contract and relax
achieving an incredible end result leaving your skin
lifted and toned.
With either treatment whether it be microdermabrasion,
micro-current or a combined treatment, you will start to
see a difference after only one treatment!!!
Welcome from Lucie Smith:
Dear friends of Rosebery Remedies.
Welcome to ithe latest edition of Rosebery Remedies
Newsletter. It is hard to believe but on 16 thMarch we
celebrated 5 years since Jackie, Carly and I opened the door
to our wonderful clinic for the first time! And what a journey it
has been... We have grown not just in the number of patients
we see but also in the number and type of therapists and
reception personnel who support us. This gives me a great
opportunity to welcome Emily Chan, a beauty consultant,
Sharisse Wainman an osteopath and Di Danzenbrink who
provides life skills coaching. All are adding strength and new
skills and experience to our exciting team. Most of you have
already met David, Penny, Linda, Denise, Fraser and Anne
in reception without whom our clinic would be lost and I am
eternally grateful to them for the support they give us all on a
daily basis.
Rosebery Remedies have finally moved into the 21 century.
RR makes appointments in an electronic diary and we
except debit and credit card as a form of payment for your
treatments.
If you are reading this Newsletter it means that our electronic
mailshot has worked. In the past, we sent these by post but
now the cost is far too high. However, I promise that I will not
bombard you with endless emails and offers. There will be a
maximum of 4 Newsletters per year just to give you
information on what is going on, offer general advice and
any special offers there may be for the quarter. More about
special offers is also advertised in local village Newsletters
and on Facebook.
Before I sign off, please in your next visit, pick up our new
Price List. Some of the treatment costs have changed. There
are few increases but also some have decreased.
Thank you for your loyal support over the last 5 years and
more. As a token of our appriciation please find £5 voucher

Somebody to talk to – Therapeutic Coaching
Have you ever wished that you had somebody to talk to about
your problems? A ‘shoulder to cry on’ can be helpful but what
you really need is somebody who can offer you the
opportunity to talk openly about all areas of your life in a
supportive, confidential, non judgemental environment but
who can also offer you the tools, skills and strategies to help
you focus and get on with your life.
We all have periods of emotional distress and when you are in
the middle of one you probably don’t feel in the right place to
start searching through the hundreds of counselling and
coaching options available to help you find the right solution.
Counselling techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy,
Psychodynamic Therapy, Human Givens Therapy, Person
Centred Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming – the list is
endless – are all effective therapies in their own right, but
choosing one when you are feeling less than your best can be
daunting and there is often concern over the length and
resulting cost of the process.
Therapeutic coaching combines the best techniques and
protocols from a variety of coaching and therapy
disciplines in an integrative therapeutic model that is
usually completed in only five or six one hour sessions.
Therapeutic coaching is a forward thinking, solution
focused therapy that helps you explore the issues that are
troubling you but also helps to focus on what it is you might
wish to change, as well as giving you the vital tools, skills
and strategies to focus on the future and get on with your
life.

EMILY CHAN - BEAUTY TREATMENTS
Emily qualified from Champneys International College of
Health & Beauty in 2005 where she gained CIBTAC &
CIDESCO qualifications. Here she studied a full time course
where she learnt a wide range of treatments and gained valuable
experience working with different clientele.
She then went on to work within the well established
Champneys Health resort Tring, at The Grove Hotel,
Hertfordshire and continued to treat in surrounding areas of
Buckinghamshire.
Since qualifying, she has furthered her knowledge in various
products and treatments such as Espa, Elemis, OPI and
Aromatherapy Associates, Usui Reiki level 2, and ITEC
diploma in Reflexology. Her enthusiasm for beauty and holistic
treatments are evident in her work, having a lot of
understanding for individual clients needs throughout their
treatment.
Having treated Lucie herself (Principal osteopath at RR), Emily
became part of the team as a Beauty Therapist at Rosebery
Remedies in spring 2013. Emily understands the importance of
using natural and organic products in order to reduce the
toxicity in our bodies and decided to bring a new product range
from Neal's Yard Remedies. She is using this great product
during her treatments but also she sells those in the clinic.
Please see the Beauty Treatments price list or visit
www.emilyjanesbeauty.net for more.

Lets End With Some Humour - it really is the
best medicine!!
Some famous quotes to reflect on.
Should we find it a bit unnerving that
Doctors call what they do 'Practice'?
'First the Doctor gave me the good news. I
was going to have a disease named after me'
'After 12 years of therapy, my psychologist
said something that really bought tears to
my eyes – 'No hablo Ingles!!'
A scared look and a 'Just let me Google that '
is not what you want to hear from your
physician.
I told my Doctor that I had broken my leg in
two places. He told me to avoid both of them
in the future.
