Conference Scholarship
David Spencer was our friend and colleague on the
PENN SACCA Board. A tremendous school-age advocate
was lost when David passed away unexpectedly in 1997.
To honor his spirit and legacy, the
Pennsylvania School-Age Child Care Alliance created the
David L. Spencer Conference Scholarship.
Each year PENN SACCA raffles a quilt to highlight our logo,
the SACC Quilt.
The scholarship honors a school-age professional whose
contributions to the betterment of the lives of school-age
children exemplifies the energy, dedication,
and professional standards of David L. Spencer.
In addition, we will raffle off a variety of theme baskets which
are sure to delight! Past baskets have included: Relaxation,
Gardening, Movie Night, Teacher’s Delight, and Kid’s Crafts.
The scholarship covers the cost of mileage,
one night’s lodging, and conference fee.
Please join us for this fun event!
The raffled items will be awarded during Saturday’s luncheon
