Program Description: This symposium will increase physician
clinical knowledge of the characteristics of Pulmonary Hypertension
and its underlying diseases. Physicians will be better prepared to
prescribe strategies that optimize screening and early detection
of Pulmonary Hypertension, contributing to the prevention and/or
slowdown of disease progression.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity participants should be able to:
1. Summarize the clinical characteristics of PAH and its underlying
diseases.
2. Prescribe strategies to optimize screening and early detection
of PAH, with an emphasis on WHO group 1, thus contributing to
the prevention and/or slowing of the disease progression.
3. Develop best management practices to improve the care and
long-term outcomes of patients with PAH and underlying
diseases.
