However, there is still some great camping weather remaining, so that is a good thing. Life is so busy these days. That’s why I like camping. You can let go of those daily stresses and relax. There’s nothing like it! Enjoy every minute! In the May/June issue, Diana Russo told us the logistics and pricing to ship her RV to Europe. Now you can read about the trip itself, beginning on page 32. If you are RVing in Mexico this year, whether by organized caravan or on your own, we have a couple of articles that will definitely interest you. “Favourite Baja Beaches for RVers” begins on page 24, and “Mexico’s Magnificent New Highway” linking Mazatlan to Durango, on page 30. You might want to add Mexico to your bucket list! I did! The Windsor Fire & Rescue Services, Windsor, Ontario, have again provided us with an important article on propane safety. Please turn to page 16 and give it a read. Share the information with your children, too. In this issue, Howard tests a 2015 Jayco Greyhawk 31FK Class C motorhome. I really like Class C’s, and this one impresses me. The test begins on page 8. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive an article from one of our younger readers this issue. I was sad. I really enjoy them, and I know our readers enjoy them too! Kids, get writing! We want to hear from you! For a number of years now, we have been learning how to be “green”. Some of us have put a lot of effort into it, and some of us, not so much. However, we must do it to preserve this world for our children, and their children. RVers are conscientious about the environment, and love the outdoors. They often take navy showers, walk or ride their bikes to the store, pool or rec hall, that kind of thing. I call it “getting back to the basics” and I commend them. It is good for our bodies, and good for the environment. We would like to hear from you! What do you do to be “green”? Are there any hints and tips that you can share with other RVers? Do you have any water saving tips, energy saving tips, or any other discovery you have made to make your life greener? If so, please email us at [email protected] or send us a letter to P.O. Box 800, Beaverton, ON L0K 1A0. Thanks! Enjoy the rest of summer! Be safe, be happy, and keep smiling!
