SeaPerch Demos
(First Time in Singapore)
First International University Maritime
Competition
SeaPerch is an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle
(ROV) using low-cost and easily attainable materials.
Catch a live demonstration of the ROVs in action!
Watch 15 teams from 5 different countries compete for
the top honours.
Each team is given a standard maritime platform (Wave
Adaptive Modular Vessel), that they have to equip with
sensors, computers and software. The vehicles will
then be used to complete a course based on a variety
of maritime surface vehicle mission tasks that include
obstacle avoidance, navigation and sonar homing.
