53-1 Permanent Wall Mat / Padding
Our model 53-1 wall padding is designed to be permanently mounted. The
standard features of the individual panels are:
2' wide by 6' high
2" high density foam foam
Heavy-duty vinyl cover available in 9 standard colors
Vinyl has a leather emboss finish
Material is mildew & rot resistant & easy to clean with soap and water
Material is treated with U.V. pigments for weatherability
Vinyls meet ASTM E 84 Class A, NFPA 701-1989 Large Scale and CSFM
requirements for flame retardancy
Cutouts are available for outlets or light switches
Non-standard height and sizes available
You can use our permanent wall padding to compliment your facility with
team colors or logos, and really show off your pride!
Not only do our clients use these wall pads in their schools and community
centers, but also in their time-out or seclusion rooms and even for their
outdoor applications such as baseball outfield board padding.

Sewn Wall Padding
SSCI also offers a removable alternative to our conventional permanent padding. The standard
removable pad we use is essentially a folding gym mat (VM-V4). This option gives you the flexibility of
now using your padding for floor tumbling exercises as well.
This style of padding is provided with aluminum velcro channel wall strips (AWS-8) in 8' lengths which
are mounted directly to the wall. The mats will then fasten to a top and bottom strip via velcro as
needed.
Custom sizes and configurations are available, as well as the following colors to personalize your pads:
blue, red, green, yellow, black & beige.

Stage Mat Padding
A stage in a gymnasium presents a real hazard when athletic activity is taking
place. Sport Systems offers custom made stage padding for your facility.
Our stage mats are constructed with a 6" return to cover the top of your stage.
This 6" return features a velcro fastening strip which has been sewn to its
underside. This strip is then used in conjunction with an opposing velcro strip
which is applied to the top of your stage. All stage padding is manufactured with a hinge. This hinge
enables you to access under-stage storage areas without having to remove your padding.
A standard stage pad is constructed of 2" high density foam, and a heavy duty vinyl cover. We offer a
wide variety of colors for your custom padding such as: yellow, forest green, gray, beige / tan, black,
royal blue, navy blue, burgundy and red.

Post, Column & Beam Padding
Sport Systems offers padding for posts, poles, columns, I-beams and more. We
can construct these pads round, square, hexagonal, 3-sided or as a flange style
(example to left).
Each pad is custom made to our clients' requirements. Standard ingredients
include a 2" high density foam and a heavy duty vinyl cover.
Please use the attached measuring guide for padding. Use the diagrams, to
determine which measurements will be required for pricing. Then fax the Request
for Quotation to the office, and someone will provide you with a quote within 2
business days.

***Please refer to the 'Custom Padding Details' sheet, for all your padding styles and the proper way to measure them.
**In all cases "Z" refers to the height, the only exceptions are for "SP" stage padding, where "Z" refers to stage length and
"53-1" wall padding, where "Z" refers to total linear feet required.
