Applied Biomechanics University of Virginia, VA, USA.
 October 2002 - October 2007: Ph.D. Student in Mechanical Engineering \ University
of Baghdad in the field of applied mechanics.

Departments of Nuclear Engineering. I gave lectures in mechanical engineering
design.

Research focuses on elastomers (rubber and rubber like materials), soft materials, and
constitutive modeling of biological tissues. Current research areas include ABS system, smart
materials, improved gearing design, and viscoelasticity of elastomeric materials and some
biological tissues under cyclic loading.
SKILLS

Good experience in modeling solid mechanics problems using Finite Elements
Methods, FEM, and Boundary Elements Methods, BEM.

Good experience in using ANSYS 12.0 for modeling solid mechanics problems.
