Our annual Fall Festival is only a few days away, and we hope you’re making plans to join us for this exciting evening.
We’ve been hard at work to make sure this is one of the best Fall Festival’s we’ve ever had.
Church Staff
There will be a chili supper with hot dogs and hot cider. There will be a bake sale, a cake walk, and even cotton candy. We’ll have our basket auction, and offer a photo booth for the very first time. Plus we’ll have a bounce house,
bungee run, giant slide, and trunk or treating for our kids.

For the third year in a row, we’re planning on spending Halloween together at the church by hosting a Trunk or Treat
in our parking lot. Word continues to spread that MHBC is a safe place to bring your kids trick or treating, so we expect our biggest crowd yet. And we need your help to keep this exciting outreach growing. We need you to bring your
car and volunteer a couple hours of your week to pass out candy to the trick or treaters we’ll see on October 31.

Our Property and Space team will be getting together on Saturday morning, November 1, to work on various projects
around the church. If you’d like to pitch in and help maintain our church, contact Bruce Jones or just be at the church
for work day at 9:00am.
Early Detection Screenings on November 6
On November 6, Life Line Screening will be at our church providing early detection screenings for various health concerns including strokes. Strokes affect over 750,000 Americans each year, and 97% of Americans cannot recognize
the signs of a stroke. This is why we will bring Life Line Screening here to offer potentially life saving screenings.
Life Line offers a variety of these screenings that range in price from $70 to $149. These screenings are not typically
offered during regular physicals, so if you’d like to take the opportunity to be screened or learn more about Life Line,
please contact the church office for additional information
Thank You, Thank You All—for your prayers, cards, calls, etc. during my recent medical saga. I had back surgery on
7.22.14. It went well until the staph infection sent me reeling. It attacked many of my organs. I truly believe it was your
prayers that pulled my through. I am still working to get back to my old (yes, I know) healthy self so, please, continue
the prayers. You are a wonderful, caring family. Thanks for everything.
