The Fujitsu ETERNUS DX Deployment delivers the following services for Fujitsu ETERNUS DX systems pre-mounted in a Rack (PRIMECENTER® M1 Rack): ■■ Verify purchased licenses ■■ Implementation • • • • • • • • • • Power up the system Check firmware and upgrade if appropriate Configure management IP-addresses according to customers requirements Configuration of in total up to 4 storage host ports (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, FCoE or SAS) and NAS (NetWork Attached Storage) interfaces Configuration of up to two items out of RAID groups/ Thin Pools Configuration of up to 8 LUNs and up to 4 NAS (Network Attached Storage) shares. Mount of NAS Shares to up to 2 hosts Registration of up to 2 hosts (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, FCoE or SAS) Mapping of LUNs to hosts Verify connectivity of LUNs and NAS shares to hosts ■■ Customer briefing • Short functional overview and transfer of knowledge. Operational services The following services are not included in the basic installation but can be offered as add-on chargeable extensions to the base service: ■■ Data migration Service conditions The customer agrees to the following conditions as pursuant to the delivery of the service defined: ■■ Access to the datacenter and required systems ■■ The system has been delivered and pre-installed in a rack ■■ Provision of all information necessary for the installation on or before the delivery date ■■ Fujitsu standard terms and conditions for services apply ■■ All work will be performed during normal business hours ■■ LAN/SAN connectivity and physical infrastructure (e.g. electricity, facilities, cabling etc.) are available. ■■ A customer contact available for the duration of the service to clarify questions and provide information, access and passwords when required ■■ The service will be delivered in consecutive days Ordering and Delivery This Professional Service is available from your local Fujitsu sales office.
