YOUTH MEDIA EDUCATION SUMMIT 2014
Prague, 21st November 2014
The Youth Media Education Summit (YMES) offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of media from a
new perspective. The youth delegates will be encouraged to share their opinions about the role of media in young people’s
individual and collective lives, whilst simultaneously trying out the roles of professional media producers. YMES will be run and
supported by academics from Europe, USA, and Asia, who are attending the parallel International Media Education Summit
(MES) organised by Bournemouth University (UK) in cooperation with the Metropolitan University in Prague and the Goethe
Institute.
The YMES programme of events is below. For further information about MES and its programme visit http://www.cemp. ac.uk/
