Gospel Choir
Meet Thursday lunchtime, 12.20 in room 68. If you enjoy
singing upbeat and happy music come along – all
abilities and ages welcome. As well as singing in the
choir there are opportunities for solo singers too.
The Big Draw is the world’s largest drawing event and
happens annually throughout the month of October. This
year the theme is Environment. The Cherwell School
will be celebrating “Drawing for Everyone” by making a
huge communal drawing of the things that make up our
school environment. Art Room 30 will be open through
each lunchtime of this week for pupils and staff to add
their bit –it doesn’t matter if it’s a little doodle, cartoon or
something a little more “Michelangelo” –everyone is
welcome!

Christmas can be a lonely time for international students at
UK Universities – would you be able to make someone feel
welcome and invite them into your home to share Christmas
with your family? A great opportunity for a child to really
understand the true meaning of this special festival, meet
new people and engender goodwill.

Wellbeing opportunity Tai Chi class at
Cherwell
A Chen style Tai Chi class run by Douglas from Oxford's Chen
Academy will be starting again today in the north site hall at 7pm.
All welcome.
This is a fantastic wellbeing opportunity for promoting mental and
physical wellbeing, including help deal with stress, physical
balance and regulating blood pressure.
This is an ancient Chinese exercise system that involves
coordinating slow gentle movement with your breathing. Saying
this, you know you have done a total work out by the end of the
hour.
Every Wednesday at 7-8pm in the Cherwell
North Site Hall

Situated in L1 and L2, the library is open from 8.00am
until registration, break time, lunch time and after school.
Come and read a book or magazine or catch up on some
