Rev. Msgr. Frederick Florek, a r etir ed pr iest of the Diocese
of San Diego died on Sat, Oct 11. The Vigil will be on Sun, Oct
19 at 7pm at St. Therese Parish, 6016 Camino
Rico, SD, 92129. The Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Mon, Oct 20 at 11am at St. Therese
Parish. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
Burial will be in Calumet City, Illinois. Please
remember the Florek family in your prayers.
Long time parishioner, Barbara Ziber, died on Oct 14,
surrounded by friends and family. Funeral Mass will
be on Mon, Oct 20 at 11am in OLG church with a
reception immediately following in Moloney Center.

Catholic Church, as well
as local churches throughout the Missions, in the most remote
areas across our world. Through the work of these churches,
and their witness to Christ, the poor receive practical help and
experience God’s love and mercy, His hope and peace. Please
keep the Missions in your daily prayers and come prepared
next weekend to give generously in the collection for the
Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Donations can be

3rd Sunday of the Month is
Wheelchair Sunday with Coffee & Donuts
The Knights of Columbus are hosting coffee
& donuts in Moloney Center after all of the
morning Masses today to share information
and promote this once per month fundraiser. This year, the
Knights hope to provide 10-12 wheelchairs for those in need.

CATHOLIC WOMEN’S CLUB
will meet Tues, Oct 21 in Moloney Center.
Refreshments are offered at 9:15am and the meeting
follows at 9:30am. All ladies of the parish are invited to be a
part of this vibrant, active group. Our big event is our
Annual Craft Fair to be held Nov 1 and 2. Join us now and
have fun volunteering at the Craft Fair. For questions

Head Angels will be at the
main

We don’t have enough angels for all of the
families-in-need yet, so if you didn’t sign up but
want to participate, stop by the table to choose

Knights of
Columbus
are taking orders for Christmas
wreaths, center pieces, garlands and gift
baskets after the Masses this weekend,
Oct 25-26 and Nov 1-2. The Knight in
charge of this fundraiser, Jim Johnson,

Last day to order is Fri, Nov 7.
Greenery will be available for pick-up
