Dear Colleague,
This is a reminder that the 5th Symposium ’Neutrinos and Dark Matter in nuclear physics
(NDM15)’ will be held in Jyv¨askyl¨a, Finland, on June 1-5, 2015. This year’s Symposium
follows the Symposia started in 2003 in Nara, Japan, and followed by Paris in 2006, Madison
in 2009 and again Nara in 2012.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES:
• Abstract submission: March 31st 2015. Send to [email protected]

• Lodging, venue and travel: See the Symposium website.
• Committees: See the Symposium website.
The programme has now been outlined (see below) and divided into five groups:
• NNA = Neutrinos in Nucleosynthesis and Astrophysics
• DM = Dark Matter
• DBD = Double Beta Decay
• SSO = Supernova and Solar neutrinos, neutrino Oscillations
• NEMF = Neutrino Experiments, Methods and Facilities

OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT THE PYHASALMI
MINE: The Pyh¨asalmi mine is situated 180 km North of Jyv¨askyl¨a, and it is the deepest mine in Europe (1420 m). The underground cosmic-ray experiment EMMA is currently running in the mine and the mine has also
been considered as the location of the pan-European large-scale neutrino facility LAGUNALBNO. The Symposium participants have the opportunity to visit the mine on 30 − 31 May
(Saturday - Sunday), just before the start of the Symposium. To participate in the visit one
should arrive to Jyv¨askyl¨a on Friday, May 29. For the registration, program of the visit and
further details, see the Symposium webpage.
CONTACT PERSON: All correspondence and requests for further information concerning
the Symposium should be sent to Prof. Jouni Suhonen, chair of the Organization Committee,
E-mail: [email protected]
We look forward to seeing you in the nightless Summery Jyv¨
