delighted to welcome Kathryn Fleming, missionary to Japan, who
will speak on the topic: Anticipating God in the Good Times and
the Bad and Maria Kellman who will share helpful fashion advice.

MEN’S BREAKFAST: Join us for the next breakfast Saturday

BLACKWOOD BROTHERS CONCERT: Saturday November 1 at
7:00 pm. Tickets from Bill Huggins, church office or at the door.!
FALL FAMILY FUN FAIR is on Wednesday October 29. We are
inviting our community to come and enjoy games, refreshments
and actives for children and adults. When everyone goes home
they get a treat bag with goodies to eat, a Gospel message and a
New Testament.!
COMING UP!
ELDER CANDIDATE: The board has nominated our beloved
former senior pastor, Jim Reese for the office of elder. Dr. Reese
will preach in the evening service on November 2 followed by a
Q&A. There will be a congregational ballot vote on November 9. !
BAPTISM: Next Sunday November 2 in the morning service we
will be having a baptism.!
YOUNG AT HEART CHRISTMAS DINNER: Thursday December
11 at 10 am. $20 tickets are available TODAY from Marg Huggins.!
PLEASE NOTE!
GERALD HOFSTETTER, oldest brother to Clair Hofstetter, has
passed away. The funeral will be held Saturday November 1 at
11:00 am at Trillium United Church in Cambridge (Preston).!
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME: Please make sure to turn your
clocks back one hour next Saturday evening.!
BENEVOLENT FUND OFFERING: The benevolent offering for
next Sunday will go towards resourcing a hospital in Liberia that is
on the front lines of the ebola epidemic. FAIR (Fellowship Aid and
International Relief) is partnering with SIM (Serving in Mission) to
supply much needed equipment and supplies.!
CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL TICKETS: The church office will begin
taking requests for tickets on Monday, November 3. This year’s
concerts will be Saturday December 6 & 7 with performances at
2:30 and 7:00 pm both days.!
JAMAICA MISSION TRIP MARCH 13-20, 2015: Please pick up
an info pack from the Welcome Centre or the slat wall to find out
how to be a part of this great serving and growing opportunity.!
NEEDED! COUCHES! If you have a couch you are no longer in
need of we can use it here at the church. Talk to Pastor Mark if
