Frequently Asked Questions What is snap2deposit?  snap2deposit is a convenient, secure and free service offered by Manchester Municipal Federal Credit Union, that allows you to make a deposit directly into your checking account using the MMFCU snap2deposit App. Simply “Snap” a picture of the front and back of your endorsed check and submit. What phones and devices are compatible with MMFCU’s snap2deposit?  The iPhone, iPad and Android are all compatible. Who is eligible to use snap2deposit?  You must be a member in good standing (no overdrafts; returned items; delinquent loans; etc.), over 18 years of age with a checking account for at least 60 days. All enrollments are subject to approval. When can I submit my deposits?  You can use snap2deposit anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Deposits made by 9:00am during regular business hours (M‐F, excluding holiday closings) will be reviewed and posted to your account that same day. Any deposits made after that time will process on the next business day. How many checks can I deposit at one time?  You will only be able to deposit one check in a single deposit. However you may make up to 5 deposits per day up to the daily deposit limit of $2500.00 What types of checks can be deposited?  Checks payable in U.S. Dollars  Checks drawn on any U.S. Bank or Credit Union  Checks made payable to the account holder What types of checks cannot be deposited? 

Checks stamped “non‐negotiable” Checks showing evidence of alteration or damage Foreign checks Incomplete checks Stale‐dated checks (over six months old) or future dated checks Savings Bonds Any third party check Money orders Travelers checks Checks with restrictive endorsements Checks purported to be lottery or prize winning Should I endorse my check before I use snap2deposit?  Yes, always remember to endorse the back of your check with your signature and write “For deposit only MMFCU snap2deposit” What should I do with my original check once it has been deposited?  You need to write “mobile deposit”, the date and the confirmation number on the front of the check as soon as the deposit has been accepted.  We recommend that you store your original check in a safe place for 60 days before destroying it. How will I know that my deposit was received?  You will receive an onscreen confirmation Do both sides of the check need to be pictured?  Yes. The screen will prompt you to take copies of both sides. What happens if I accidentally deposit the same check twice?  snap2deposit has built‐in duplicate detection tools that detect items already captured. If a duplicate item has been detected, a message will advise you that the item has been rejected for deposit. If you get this message in error, you will have to deposit the check in person.
