There are many advantages for IBOs who move to Telstra... Accelerate plans.

Telstra / Amway FAQs
1. What are the key benefits of moving to Telstra?
There are many advantages for IBOs who move to Telstra and take up the Amway
Accelerate plans.
• Telstra’s mobile network covers more than 2.1 million square kms around Australia,
that’s
more than their nearest competitor - this means that more IBOs can benefit from
Amway’s
Partner Stores program.
• Telstra’s network speeds and increased coverage means that you can do business
better,
faster, and in more places without missing a beat.
• Amway Accelerate plans are more competitive than what’s generally offered in the
consumer market (up to 25% savings from Telstra retail plans)
• There is an Amway Accelerate plan to suit just about every budget, from $38 month
to
tailored plans that provide unlimited access for power users and business builders.
• You’ll earn PV/BV on most Amway Accelerate plans, except the $38 plan.
2. Details of offers?
Details of all the offers available can be easily viewed by visiting www.telstra.com.au/
amway or by calling the dedicated service number on 1800 426 699
3. I have an existing contract with another provider. Can I terminate that
contract and
sign up with Telstra?
Before you terminate your agreement, we suggest that you review the terms and
conditions
of the service that you have signed up to with your current provider. You may have
signed up to a 24 months contract, therefore, you should identify if there are any
Early Termination Charges or other penalties which may be imposed on you if you
break that contract before the 24 months.
Usually, if you don’t have a copy of the contract, a call into their Customer Service
Centre
will be the first step in understanding what your commitments are. This does not mean
that you cannot migrate your service to Telstra. We are simply advising you to check
your commitments with your current provider so that you can make a decision that is
right for you.
4. Is there a referral system in
place to receive additional commissions? Can I sign
up customers and earn PV/BV on their monthly bill?
VIP clients can now take advantage of the Amway IBO offering. They must complete
the activation process themselves – either via calling 1800 426 699 or by filling in the
online order form found only at telstra.com.au/amway
VIP client number validation will be required. Standard Telstra credit assessment and
ID checking will take place before a Telstra account is established.
Eligible PV/BV points flow on from the VIP mobile service to the related IBO account.
5. Is there a 24/7 technical support phone number?
Extended service hours are available from the Telstra MyWay Sales and Service
centre.
Mon-Fri - 9am - 8pm
Saturday 9am - 5pm
After Hours Assistance* can be reached via the following numbers:
- Mobiles: 125111
- BigPond: 137663
- Foxtel: 131999
- Fixed Line: 132200
* In some instances, after hours support may not be able to access your full account
details and the range of support may be limited – your operator will advise you of any
limitations.
6. Optus and Team Telecom (the Optus sales agent) still contact me even
though their
contract with Amway has ended. Is this OK?
Optus and Team Telecom have the right to contact their customers, including IBOs
who
have an existing contract with Optus. The contract between Optus and Amway has
been
terminated, so any offer Optus makes is not supported by Amway and consequently
does
not carry PV/BV. If you wish to stop receiving their communications, simply
unsubscribe, or
say to the Team Telecom representative that you no longer want to be contacted by
them.
7. Can I receive commissions
for my existing Telstra plan (non-Amway linked Telstra accounts)?
Commissions will not apply to any IBO or Amway representative that takes up an
Amway
Plan on an existing Telstra mobile service that has 30 days or more on their existing
contract.
8. There are new plans on offer from Telstra – what does it mean to me?
That all depends on where you are in your contract and what you want to do once it
expires.
If you are on a Simple Saver or Value Plan (the ‘old’ plans), you can select one of the
new Amway Accelerate plans when it comes time to re-contract. These new plans let
you attach a new handset of to bring your own (BYO) device.
Moving to one of the new Amway Accelerate plans gives you access to;
Telstra THANKS
The Telstra 24x7 app
New Phone Feeling ($38 Accelerate plan excluded)
Peace of Mind ($38 Accelerate plan excluded)
Other great benefits, as advised by Telstra from time to time
You can also elect to stay on your current plan – but you cannot re-contract to it,
which means your ongoing PV/BV payments will stop and the ‘BYO’ credit is no
longer an available offer. Eventually, access to the ‘old’ plans will be removed, but
Telstra will give you ample notice and advice on what new plan would best suit your
needs. There is currently no date for the cessation of the ‘old’ plans.
