Grimes & KG Justiceweexpected Top RFD-TV’s The American Qualifier in MT

Veterinarian Kathy Grimes and her home-grown superstar KG
Justiceweexpected (“Issy”) edged Amber Moore and her tough
mare CP Dark Moon, 14.667 to 14.675, to win RFD-TV’s The
American Qualifier, held October 19 in conjunction with the Montana Barrel Daze at the Cottonwood Equestrian Center in Silesia.
As the current Cottonwood Arena record holders with a 14.573,
Grimes and Issy were easily the favorites; however, their run wasn’t
without several tense moments. Issy stumbled at the first and then
popped Grimes up in the saddle at the second.
After clocking a 14.9 on Saturday with what she thought was a
smooth run, Grimes was sure she’d failed to qualify.
“I don’t know how she’s that fast,” said Grimes, who qualified for
her second Semifinals rodeo appearance. “I know she’s THAT good,
so I get so nervous thinking all I have to do is ride correctly! So then
I start to wig myself out on ‘How do you ride her correctly?’ When
you head down the alley it all comes back to you, but sitting there
waiting—thinking, “When do I check her at the first?’ I had total
confidence in her, but I was worried about my performance.”
Grimes, who pocketed $2,175 for winning the 116-entry Qualifier, operates a mixed animal practice—Grimes Veterinary Services—
in Medical Lake, Wash.
“I mostly do equine and I do quite a bit of reproduction,” she said.
“So from about mid-April until June, I just stay home for the most

A Stunning Performance for Quay Eaves & Wicked Leo at Starkville Qualifier

Quay Eaves and the 14-year-old Paint gelding Wicked Leo
(“Streaker”) put nearly 2/10ths on an extremely tough field at RFDTV’s The American Qualifier, held October 17 in conjunction with
the Horse Poor BBR Southeast Regional in Starkville, Miss. The
victory earned the barrel horse trainer and broker from Louisville,
Miss., $2,250 plus the all-important berth into the Semifinals Rodeo
to be held at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, this coming
February.
Streaker, the property of the Williams family—Gerald, Paula and
Megan—of Daingerfield, Texas, has been in Eaves barn periodically
since 2012.
“They bought him for a rodeo horse and Megan wasn’t riding
him a whole lot,” explained Eaves, 31. “They’ve always sent me
good horses to ride off and on. She sent him to me the first time
in 2012, and I rode him a little. I won the Mississippi NBHA State
Finals on him and won quite a few big barrel races with him then.
She took him home for a little while and I’ve had him back since
last November. He’s done really well for me.”
Eaves, who also won $2,874 in the 2D Slot Race within the
American Qualifier, said that this past weekend’s victory was his
biggest on the gelding, by Terribly Wicked out of Any Mans Fancy,
by Sierra Supreme.
“He’s won me quite bit since last fall,” Eaves added, who took the
reserve 1D title at the Mississippi NBHA State Show the weekend
prior to the Qualifier. “I had a lot of people ask me if that’s the best
run (in the Qualifier) that he’s ever made. It’s one of his best runs,
but he’s made runs like that before. It’s just been at $500, $1,000added jackpots with a couple of 100 horses.
“By far it was the best run he’s made on that kind of stage. He just
really put it together. Sometimes he’ll want to be a tick slow at the
first, but his second and third is always pretty solid. Friday night he
just felt like he got in that groove. He got his first barrel just about
perfect and left it really hard. He had his normal second and third.
He felt like he was flying Friday night. He made an outstanding run,
for sure. I told someone it was like he was on rails. He just went in
there and done it.”
Streaker has been on the market, but although there was some
interest, no buyer ever came through.

part from barrel racing, foal out my own babies and breed my own
mares, and I do some outside breeding for other people as well.”
Grimes, who spent several years away from barrel racing to build
her veterinary career, sold her original practice when she decided
she wanted to devote more time to raising and training her personal
barrel horses. The winning program that she has today was 20 years
in the making.
“It’s been a long time coming,” she sighed. “We don’t raise bunnies so it takes a long time to see results—the raise your babies
and train them up and realize that was a great cross or whatever.
I’ve been working at it for 20 years, doing the breeding, getting my
mares and trying to cross them on something appropriate to their
strengths and weaknesses. There are so many great stallions out
there, and I really like the mares. I like riding them, plus I can breed
them. It’s nice to have good mares so you can pick from all those
great stallions.”
Issy, a 7-year-old black mare, is by leading barrel horse sire Judge
Cash out of Do It For Beau, by Beaus Scoop Of Sun. Grimes also
raised Do It For Beau. Her dam was Jodalita Cielo, her sister’s former barrel horse.
“She had nothing special on her papers, other than Azure Te a
little ways back,” said Grimes. “I’m fairly certain that’s where she
got her speed from. She was a fast, athletic mare. She was the start
of my breeding program 20 years ago.”
The stallion that Grimes had at the time she acquired Jodalita
Cielo was Beaus Scoop Of Sun.
“He was just a beautiful, great conformation stallion,” she said,
“probably not super-fast, which is why I thought he’d be great to
cross with Jodalita Cielo. She was really fast. It worked out great.”
The cross produced two foals that ran 17.1 or better on a WPRA
standard pattern. Jodalita Cielo herself produced four foals. Do It
For Beau was her second foal and the first filly.
“She was a really phenomenal barrel mare,” said Grimes. “I won
almost $50,000 with her—futurities, derby, pro rodeo money. She
did a lot of firsts for me in the barrel racing world. I wish I knew
then what I know now as terms of training because I think I could
have done so much better by her. She taught me a lot.”
Issy is Do It For Beau’s first foal, and she’s also a product of
Grimes’ first personal attempt at performing an embryo transfer.
Beginner’s luck resulted in two embryos, one of which is Issy and
her full sibling belongs to a veterinary colleague of Grimes.
“I was hooked on embryo transfer after getting the first two and
getting them stuck,” she laughed. “It’s not always that easy. It’s kind
of like barrel racing, you win that first check and you’re a lifer!”
Issy has also qualified Grimes for the Columbia River Circuit
Finals after her half-sister and Grimes’ main rodeo horse Winning
Gold Chex got injured at Cheyenne. Grimes said she didn’t have
great expectations for Issy since she hadn’t run much in the big
pens outside, but she was presently surprised with her transition to
rodeo horse.
“She just always comes through for me in the big important
moments and always pulls it off for me,” said Grimes. “She’s really
awesome. She’s crossed a lot of things off of my bucket list in the
barrel racing world. She just a lot of fun, and she’s a pleasant mare
to be around. She loves people. She likes to be bossy with other
horses, but she likes people and loves to do her job.”
With Grimes practice and her horse operation, she stays very
busy.
“I want to do everything!” she laughed. “I love my vet stuff and I
love my horses—the breeding, the foaling, the training, the futurities and rodeo. I’m always trying to figure out how I can do a little
bit of all of it and go as far as I can in each category. It’s working
out okay.”
RFD-TV’s The American is a perfect way for Grimes to realize her rodeo dreams without hauling extensively and taking the
chance of injuring one of her stars on questionable or unfair rodeo
ground.
“It’s something that I struggle with,” she said. “Sometimes rodeo
ground is less than ideal and I struggle with the thought of injuring
Issy. I won so much money with her at derbies and big open races I
wonder why I need to haul all over the place to go someplace where
the ground is questionable or it rains when I’m up and perfect
for everyone else or I’m tenth out and don’t stand a chance. It’s a
simple question really. Why risk injury when you could go to the
American and possibly win a million dollars?”
At the 2014 Semifinals this past February, Grimes and Issy made
the Top 20 into the rodeo performances at Mesquite, but they
tipped a barrel to make the Top 10 that moved on to RDF-TV’s
The American in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
“That’s not going to happen this year,” Grimes emphatically
stated. “We have another year under our belts. I’m getting more
confident in her and myself, and I’m riding better. It’s all good.”

“I think people were just afraid of his age,” he said, when asked
why Streaker hadn’t sold. “He’s really sound, doesn’t require any
injections or anything like that. I think his age has been the only set
back that’s kept people from stepping up.”
Things have changed a bit since he blew past some of the toughest horses in the Southeast last weekend.
“I’m sure they’ll still sell him,” Eaves quipped, “but I’ll just ride
him out until then.”
Eaves, who wanted to thank his wife Ashley for all her help and
support and the Williams family for “trusting me to take their horse
and get him shown,” has trained barrel horses professionally since
he turned 16. He has a strong brokering business and trains a few
futurity horses as well.
“I really like fooling with the futurity horses—putting the time
in on them and having the dream of winning,” he said. “It’s always
nice to have good customers like the Williams, Boyd Ranch and
Headleys—Dr. David and Shelton—that will send me a nice open
horse, to broker or just ride them when they’re not being used as
much or when they need sharpening up. Those are fun to ride—just
run them here and there and let them happen as opposed to riding
a baby.”
He’s excited for the opportunity to compete in RFD-TV’s The
American and his younger brother, Tanner, is equally excited for
chance to go to Cowboy’s Stadium in Arlington.
“He’s a huge Cowboy’s fan,” laughed Eaves. “Ever since he was
in second grade, he just loves ‘em. He never misses a game. To get
to go run barrels in their stadium would be pretty cool. There’s a lot
of steps to it, but we can dream…we’ve already made one step.”

Kaley Bass’s Wonders Cowboy Dan named
2014 AQHA/WPRA Horse Of The Year

The No. 1 horse in the WPRA World Standings Wonders Cowboy Dan earned 2014 AQHA/WPRA Horse-Of-The-Year honors.
The 14-year-old gray gelding is owned by H.Q. Bass of Davenport,
Florida, and ridden by his daughter Kaley to more than $155,280
this season.
“It’s pretty neat,” said Kaley Bass. “I’m pretty excited about it.”
Cowboy, by Wonders Pal out of Jackies Cowgirl Bar, by Cowboy
Dans Bar, is the product of Se’Belle Dymmek’s powerful breeding
program in Kissimmee, Fla. Dymmek also raised Wonders Pal and
his dam Ole Blondy Belle.
Ole Blondy Belle is out of Petes Honey, a mare Dymmek’s
mother purchased for her as a 2-year-old for a 4-H project. Dymmek later bred Ole Blondy Belle to Wonder Otoe, who sired her
daughter’s barrel horse.
Wonder Otoe was a son of Otoe, a seven-eighths brother to the
great Flit Bar. Both Otoe and Flit Bar were by Sugar Bars and they
were out of full sisters—Juleo and Flit, respectively. Both mares
were by Leo and out of Julie W, by Joe Hancock.
Dymmek purchased Cowboy’s dam Jackies Cowgirl Bar as a
2-year-old, sight-unseen from Keith Avery in New Mexico. The appendix mare was by Cowboy Dans Bar, a grandson of AAA runner
Bright Bar, a son of Three Bars (TB) and AQHA Hall Of Famer
Maddons Bright Eyes. Her maternal line was straight Thoroughbred, going back to the likes of Nasrullah and Jackstraw.
By crossing Wonders Pal and Jackies Cowgirl Bar, Dymmek got
Cowboy and his full sister—15-year-old Girl Pal Wonder. Bass
originally purchased 3-year-old Cowboy and after his two daughters
Kristen and Kaley fought over the easy-going gelding, he went back
and purchased Girl Pal Wonder—for Kaley. Cowboy was Kristen’s.
“My sister and I kept fighting over Cowboy because he was just
one of those horses that you could just jump on and do anything
with,” said Kaley. “He’d listen to you. Of course, he wasn’t blowing
anyone out of the water barrel racing yet, but he was one of those
horses that you just loved to be around. He was just so easy going.”
Originally, Cowboy started out as the “pole horse.”
“He did the barrels, but he wasn’t that fast,” recalled Kaley. “He
was outstanding in the poles for me in junior rodeo and my sister in
high school rodeo. He would run 19’s and 20’s in the poles.”
About the time Cowboy turned 7, he decided he wanted to be a
barrel horse and stepped it up in that event. He carried Bass to the
third at the National High School Rodeo Finals in the barrel racing
her freshman year of high school—the only year she high school
rodeoed.
After high school, Kaley laid sole claim to Cowboy and together
the duo has qualified for three National Finals Rodeos and won
more than $500,000 together. In 2011, they finished 22nd in the

Kaley said her sister often likes to joke that she gets 20 percent of
Cowboy’s winnings since she trained the gelding, but there’s really
no squabbling when it comes to his success.
“She’s just as excited for me as if it were to be her and him,” she
said. “It’s a family deal. We never expected him to be the horse he
is today. He surprised us all. It’s just a cool experience to have done
that with your family. It’s pretty exciting for my sister and me to be
able to tell the story that we got him to where he is today. He’s part
of our family.”

Ann Scott and Fallin For Fame Sweep California Circuit

After a long season of rodeoing across the country and finishing
18th in the WPRA world standings, Ann Scott appreciated a rodeo
just 40 minutes down the road.
At the California Circuit Finals Rodeo in Lancaster on Oct. 1718, Scott won the average title for the second straight year aboard
her home-raised 9-old gelding Fallin For Fame (“Buzz”).
“I’ve been gone from home quite a while,” said Scott, a part-time
stuntwoman from Canyon Country. “It was nice to go home every
night after the rodeo and let my horse rest in his own stall and I
could be in my own bed.”
Scott clocked a 17.9 in the first round, but it was good enough for
third behind Erin Ricotti’s smoking 17.4. Scott placed third again
on her second run of 17.7 and wrapped up the rodeo with a thirdround-winning 17.5 to claim $4,046 total and the average title by
four-tenths over Sheena Robbins.
“The ground was pretty deep in the first round,” Scott said. “The
arena sits on a car racetrack and has a lot of clay in it, so it was a
little sticky; my horse pulled a shoe at third. But by Saturday night
they watered it more and I was first out, which was really helpful.”
Scott had been trying hard to make her first Wrangler NFR just
over a couple of weeks earlier, and almost got it done. After hitting

Benbenek Ready to Defend Title as Prairie Circuit Champ

She has to go to 18 rodeos in the Prairie Circuit instead of the
required resident number of 15, but it pays off every year for
Gretchen Benbenek of Aubrey, Texas.
The cowgirl and her home-raised horse, Shot Of Firewater
(“Maverick”), won the first round and placed third in the average at
the Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo, Oct. 16-18 in Duncan, Okla. But
she also handily won the year-end championship to gain a secondstraight trip to the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo.
Last year, Benbenek also won the year-end championship and
placed third at the Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo. In April, Benbenek
went on to win the national circuit championship in Guthrie, Okla.
“In Duncan, I was first out in the first round and he likes it when
the ground’s a little hard, so it worked out,” she said. “It got deeper
and I was last in the second round, so he got a little bogged down.”
In a tight average race where fewer than two-tenths of a second
separated the top three gals after three runs, Benbenek earned
$2,016. Meanwhile, 66-year-old Mary Burger edged Kyra Stierwalt
by the slimmest of margins – four-hundredths of a second – over
three runs to come out with the other trip to Kissimeee.

a barrel at Omaha, she had driven 25 hours straight to California
for the last few rodeos of the season, placing at Bakersfield, Poway
and Kingman (Ariz.) but hitting a barrel at San Bernardino. She
finished with nearly $70,000 earned – just $2,297 out of a first NFR
berth.
“My goal had been to go to some big rodeos and experience life
on the road, and I got to do that,” she said. “My other goal was to
win the California Circuit, but being out on the road I felt like I was
missing some California rodeos. I was about $3,000 behind Linda
Vick and didn’t think I’d be able to catch her.”
Vick, always tough at the Finals, uncharacteristically hit a barrel
in the first round, which opened the door for someone else to steal
the year-end championship.
“When I won the third round, the announcer said I’d won the average and that it would be a tight race for the year-end between Linda
and Sheena,” said Scott. “I thought I was too far behind. When our
circuit director found me in the parking lot with that big buckle and
Jo Mora artwork for me, saying I’d won the year-end, I argued with
her and thought she was confused.
“I couldn’t believe it,” she added. “It was so nice to be close to
home and have so many family members and friends there for that.
I also have to thank Johnny Zamrzla, the guy who puts on our
circuit finals. He really saved it in California and it becomes bigger
and bigger every year. We had a beautiful awards ceremony Saturday
night. It was really fun.”
Scott’s horse was named the 2014 California Circuit Horse of
the Year. Joining her at the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo in
March in Kissimmee, Fla., will be Sheena Robbins of Fresno, who
was runner-up in the year-end standings.
The national finals’ venue is more than 2,500 miles away for Scott
and Robbins, but they’ll likely be in Texas already in March. RodeoHouston is scheduled for March 3-22, and the RNCFR will be held
March 25-28, so that could turn a 40-hour trip into just 15 hours.
“I’m really excited to be qualified for Houston and San Antonio in
2015,” said Scott. “And winning the Cinch Shoot-Out at Colorado

Springs qualified me for the American Semi-Finals, so I’m excited
to go to all those. Then I’ll come home and go to the California
spring rodeos and see how it’s going from there. I think hopefully
next season will be easier. Not knowing where I was going this year
was difficult. I’d never even heard of most of the towns and I’d get
there and not know where the stalls were or where the arena was
located, so it will be nice to know more this year. In the meantime,
I’ll give Buzz a rest and spend time with my colts at some jackpots.”

Ta Fame mare. Sadiesfamouslastwords (“Mo”) is only 5 years old
and he helped Burger win the average title in Duncan even with a
wreck akin to a blown tire that rips the fender off.
“I just told myself, ‘I just need a nice solid run,’” Burger said. “He
ran in really hard and spun both of his front shoes off. One came
completely off and the other came off just on the inside. He wears
clips because his walls are weak, and that clip was poking him right
in the white line, and the bell boot was turned up clear over his foot
onto his ankle. He still finished the pattern and placed second even
with all that going on. He was pretty sore on it for three or four
days.”
Mo was a little inconsistent over the summer, and Burger compared him to an immature kid who’s talented but still learning. This
fall, she had taken him to three American qualifiers and finished just
out of the top 10 at each. He just didn’t feel up to par, she said.
“I got a little vet work done on him just before the Circuit Finals
and boy, he just come to life,” said Burger, who hopes he continues
firing at the upcoming qualifier in Glen Rose, Texas.
In Duncan, neither Burger nor Stierwalt could overtake Benbenek
in the year-end standings – she spanked the field by more than
$6,000.
“I don’t know that I won a single rodeo in the Prairie Circuit
all year other than the RNCFR,” said Benbenek. “I was second at
Mitchell, S.D., which was co-approved and that was a big paycheck,
but I mostly just placed consistently everywhere.”
Maverick, 11, is out of Benbenek’s old cutting-bred barrel racing
mare, Miss Willie Ada. Benbenek had bred the Doc Quixote granddaughter to Firem Jet to get Maverick. Firem Jet is by Firewater
Flit out of a granddaughter of Jet Deck. Just before becoming the
national champion this spring, Benbenek turned a lot of heads in
Dallas on Maverick when she placed fifth in the first round of the
prestigious first edition of The American.
“He did really well last spring,” she said. “I’m really proud of
him.”
Benbenek had grown up in Montana and didn’t come from a
rodeo family, but learned to barrel race at 13. After graduating from
Oklahoma State University, where she was on two national championship women’s rodeo teams, she retired Miss Willie Ada and
moved to Texas to live with some friends.
She was contemplating a job offer in landscape architecture from
a firm in Dallas. But she knew the 8-to-5 lifestyle would make it
tough to rodeo, and Maverick, although green, was showing promise. So Benbenek ditched the corporate world and became a real
estate appraiser who continues to work as a contractor, making her
own hours.
In 2014, she finished about 40th in the world standings, but the
money she won in Guthrie en route to her national championship
(more than $13,000) did count toward 2015 qualifications, so that
should get her into the big building rodeos this winter.
“It’s awesome they count that money for qualifications,” she said.

“I don’t know why they don’t count it as official money, really, since
they count money from the Champions’ Challenge events and other
limited-entry rodeos.”
Last year, Benbenek’s RNCFR victory also meant she qualified
to compete at Calgary, and she built her 2014 summer around the
Stampede. But it’s not something she’ll do again.
“This next season, I don’t see myself spending a month in
Canada, although I’d love to go back to Calgary,” she said. “I’ll go a
little different direction on this side of the border.”
In the meantime, next spring she will likely be one of very few
ladies in Kissimmee competing on a horse she made from scratch.
“The national circuit finals win this year was our first really big
win, ever,” Benbenek said. “That was pretty awesome. I’ve never
been to a rodeo in Florida and never been to Kissimmee. I’m
pretty excited to go see what it’s like. I hear it’s a good facility and it
sounds like they are excited to have us there and ready to make this
a really good event, like it should be.”
Benbenek, of course, would like to repeat her national championship, but there’s no pressure mounting.
“I still feel like the underdog all the time,” she laughed, “so that
keeps some of the pressure off me. And there are so many good
people that are going to be there. If I do the best I can do, I can
hang with them. If I don’t make good runs, I know I’ll get blown
away.”

Big Payout at 2014 Canadian Barrel Horse Incentive Program
The Canadian Barrel Horse Incentive (CBHI) Program held their
big event the weekend of October 10-12 in Ponoka, Alberta and
paid out big money to those who came. The CBHI is a program
designed by barrel horse breeders to allow stallion owners to nominate their stallions and you, the owner of the offspring of these
stallions to be eligible to run for extra money at approved venues
around western Canada. The CBHI also holds an annual Horse Sale
for only CBHI Stallion owners’ horses. The program is growing
leaps and bounds and the CBHI futurity and derby entries have
exploded. First place paid over $20 000 this year, next year it will
pay around the same but then the following 2 years it jumps from
$30 – $42k. Most of the yearlings in the sale are eligible for that
big money. The money for the program comes from a stallion auction held each year in February, of which the resulting foals are also
eligible. Here are some comments from a few of this years winners courtesy of the CBHI:
Futurity Superstakes Champion: Sonda Marks
BRR: How did you come to own “Tick”? How would you describe
Tick’s personality? What was the key to keeping her consistent all
year? Marks: I bought her (Timetoraisethebar) in 2010 for $4200 out of
the CBHI sale from Bishops. Tick’s personality is very laid back.
I always say she’s like a sloth but she’s there when she’s ready to
run! To keep her consistent I did a lot of riding out in the field and
kept her fresh by not over doing barrel work with her. She is the
type that didn’t need much barrel work after she started running
consistent.

BRR: What was your approach this year with “Flit” after her futurity year in 2013? LeClerq: This year my goal was to get Flit seasoned for rodeos to
get her ready to run at Ponoka and the big outdoor rodeos.
I think her heart is what makes her so special. Every run Flit will
goes out there and works her butt off every time. No matter what
arena ground or situation, I know she will give me everything she’s
got.
BRR: What are your future plans for her? LeClerq: My future plans is to keep taking her down the rodeo trail
and hopefully make it to CFR (Canadian Finals Rodeo).

The Rundown with Rayel Little
Dreamy Little Nick (Tucson)
2009 Sorrel Gelding, 15.1 hands, 1,100 lbs.
History: He is out of the Blue Neon Ranch (Grant Little’s)
program. Fols Dream Of Cash is his dam and she earned
a 104 speed index and $32,629 on the track. She also has
the same dam as Grant’s great mare, Lady Perks. His sire is
Asgoodasnickgets, who is a full brother to futurity legend
Willy Nick Bar. Dreamy Little Nick’s life time earnings are
now up to $17,778. He was entered in 6 futurities, he won 4
of them and he was 2nd in the other two. My good futurity
horse last year, Good Little Nick, was a full brother.
Runs: The first run, the horse was maybe a hair hesitant
running in, maybe looking at the crowd a little, so he didn’t
have as good of first barrel as usual but the rest of the run
was really good. That’s why he was a little longer on that
first run. The second round he just really had a picture
perfect run, where to me he did everything right and that’s
why he was able to run a 17.365. The third run was basically
the same run again (as the second round). He never really
looks like he is running hard but it is always smooth. He just
got a little faster with every run. We were obviously very
happy and pleased with the horse. He is a little quirky in that
he is a little spooky when he runs somewhere for the first
time but he usually gets stronger the more he runs and gets
more familiar with his surroundings.

“I
’m fed up with mankind!”
The grey-haired lady sputtered and fumed as she flounced
about the busy office of a large business. She was the
office manager currently trying to train a couple new young girls. I
knew her slightly and the problems she had with getting competent
help.
“Doesn’t anyone take responsibility? Doesn’t anyone listen to
directions and then try to follow them? Where has common sense
gone?” She continued to rant. I had concluded my business and
she gathered up her purse and prepared to walk out with me all the
while listing the many shortcoming of her office staff.
She was in no mood to listen to instruction and I had an appointment anyway so we parted at the street door and went our separate
ways. I prayed for her to seek God and his Divine Wisdom on how
to handle the problems she faced. God is the answer to all the turmoil and mess in our lives today and we need to receive the peace,
comfort and answers He freely offers us.
The Bible tells us how great men “encourage themselves in the
Lord.” We can do that, too. “Thanks be to God who always leads us
in triumph in Christ...” and keep in mind that all things are possible
with God. He can turn your situation around in an instant and turn
what satan intended for evil into something good.
Expect good things to happen to you and say, “I’m blessed to
be a blessing! I have the favor of God and man!” Tell God your
concerns, as for His guidance and then wait quietly while He speaks
to your heart. I will contact that office manager again and I fully
expect that God will have lifted her out of her frustration for “if
God be for us, who can be against us!”
