QUESTION
RFP Section Reference 3.11.1.2 Professional
Registration.
Further to the answer obtained the briefing meeting on
the 1 st October, attached is an extract from LHDA
Contract 1006 Demarcation of Mohale Reservoir item 6
whereby all the work had to be submitted to the Chief
Surveyor and this is by Licenced Surveyors (Lesotho). In
this project is the still going to be the same or no work
will be submitted for approval?

RFP Section Reference 3.5.2 - Survey
It is well understood that the survey has to be carried
and tied to the National Survey system. It has been
noted that there is difference between the National

This is not a cadastral survey and the work will not be submitted to the Chief
Surveyor (Lesotho) for approval. However, as per Section 3.5.3 Task 3, the
schedule of beacons installed will be reviewed by LHDA.
The survey will be undertaken by appropriately qualified and professionally
registered staff as indicated in Section 3.11.1.2 of the RFP.
The LHWP Lo29 Tunnel System shall be used for the survey.

Survey system and the LHDA survey system although
both are in LO 29. This was even more significant
during the PHASE II Feasibility Study whereby same
points had slightly different values

The question which system is to be used for the
survey?
3.11.1 Key Staff
RESPONSE
No, each key staff position must be filled by a separate individual.
Can one person be permitted to take position of
3.11.1.1 Project Manager and 3.11.1.2 Surveyor at the
same time?
4.4
Section 2B Clause 6.1 refers to Article 1 and 10 of the
Phase II Agreement.
