} OCTOBER IS RESPECT FOR LIFE MONTH –
throughout the Catholic Churches. The Pennies for
Life Fund Raiser will go through the month of
October. Please place in basket in vestibule of the
Church. All money will go towards the Respect for
Life fund for St. Michael.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS –
The Annual 4th Degree turkey dinner will be held
Sunday, Nov. 2nd from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Cost is
$8 per plate. Dine in or take out. Proceeds go to
Priest Ed and Scholarships.
KC Essay Contest has begun for all students 8-12th
grade. Prizes will be awarded in each grade
division with Seniors competing for a $1000.00/4
years scholarship. Entry forms are available at

Dec. 15th.
KC Substance Abus poster contest is open for 8-14

PICTORIAL DIRECTORY –Families may submit a
recent portrait to the Rectory by Nov. 15th. If you
need to change your scheduled appt. you may call

ADULT FAITH FORMATION - classes are on
Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in the parish Education
building. This season’s class is the “Priest,
Prophet, King” video series from Fr. Barron.
Format will be a 20-30 minute video and group
discussion and reflection afterward.
No
registration required. All are welcome.
ANGELS OF MERCY – We provide assistance to new and
expectant mothers in St. Michael Parish. If your family is
expecting, please contact Lori Williams at 601-638-8448
or the Rectory so we may keep your family in our
prayers.
COURTYARD BRICK GARDEN -- If you are interested in
getting a brick for the next group, please see the Church
office. We will get your order started for the next time
our brick man comes to town.
CYO – Those attending Youth Day will be leaving from St.
Michael at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26th. No EDGE or LIFETEEN
meetings will be held Oct. 26th. Next meeting will be Nov. 2nd at
St. Michael Parish Hall at 5:30 p.m.
Mission Trip – An interest meeting for the South Texas mission
trip will be held Sunday, Nov. 9th at 4:30 p.m. in Farrell Hall.
Parents and youth both need to attend. Minimum age of 14 at
time of trip is required. For more info contact Brian McFall at

BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE – We are here to help you and
your family while dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Volunteers prepare meals for parishioners who suffer a loss in
their family. If this committee can be of help to you, please
contact the Rectory. We are always happy to have new
volunteers in this ministry. WE ARE IN NEED OF MORE
VOLUNTEERS….please call Christy Middleton at 638-7398 or
Babs Hearn at 638-9319 if you would like to become a part of
this wonderful ministry.
RCIA - The Rite of Welcome for our new candidates will be
celebrated next Sunday, Nov. 2nd at the 11 a.m. Mass.
ALL SAINTS – on Nov. 1st is not a holy day of oblibation this
year. Fr. O’Leary will celebrate the feast of All Saints at 6:30
a.m. at St. Mary. The 5:30 p.m. Mass here at St. Michael on
Nov. 1st will be the Mass for All Soul’s Day.
ST. PAUL - FIRST SATURDAY FATIMA ROSARY/NOV.1ST - 9:00
a.m., St. Paul Chapel.
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION – If you are new to the
parish please register as a parishioner. Registration forms are
on the library counter in the vestibule of the church. You may
place them in the collection basket.
